Lotina warns that Espanyol won’t be an easy rival while he hasn’t decided yet the team he will use in Saturday’s game (18h00 CET): In the meantime the Catalans have several doubts ahead of the match.

Deportivo trained on Tuesday at Abegondo, it was just a physical session and no tactics were trained ahead of the encounter against RCD Espanyol. After the session ended, coach Miguel Angel Lotina attended to the press room and talked about several subjects. Firstly he confirmed that no lineup has been decided yet for the game, “I haven’t decided yet about the players. The other day we had the sensation of been dominating the game, but we should had have more fluidity and coordination in defence.”

Abut the rival, the Basque knows that Espanyol comes to the Riazor after two defeats, but he warns that it will be a tough rival and that the competition has just started, “We can’t say that Espanyol is in a bad situation, we must be patient. Until matchday 10 or 12 we can not give a proper opinion.”

Regardless to the case of Lafita, Lotina assured once again that his exit won’t automatically means that Depor will attempt to sign a new reinforcement, “We have to wait and see what happens, we won’t make a signing just for the pleasure of making a signing. If the one I want doesn’t come, we won’t sign anybody.”

Meanwhile, Espanyol is having several injury problems at the squad, playmaker Iván de la Peña is almost discarded due to a muscular injury, while other four players will be ready for the game, but not at one hundred percent: Carlos Kameni (muscular), Raúl Tamudo, David García (both hamstring) and Shunsuke Nakamura (ankle sprain).
