The squad is preparing for the match against Barcelona without four players who are with their national teams. The novelty has been the return of Munitis who's ready to play against Barcelona. The sessions have also been used to work with some of the youngsters.

Andrade, Capdevila, Coloccini and 'Toro' Acu?±a have been absent during the week since they are participating with their national teams in international friendlies. Their return is expected today or even tomorrow. Of this group, Andrade and Capdevila are two of the four men who Caparr??s is thinking of using in the defensive line.

The main novelty has been the return of Pedro Munitis.  The Cantabrian player has recuperated from his problems and is expected to return on Saturday, replacing Romero on the left wing. One of the things emphasized by Caparr??s during the last few sessions has been the pressure in midfield, a key job that will help the squad achieve a positive result at the Camp Nou.

Munitis’ participation will probably be the only change in the starting lineup, but Diego Trist??n has the possibility of replacing Rub?©n Castro up front. However, Caparr??s will maintain the same strategy he used in Pamplona, something he mentioned yesterday in the press room: "It's clear that we will try to win the match in Barcelona. We won't discover the quality of our rival now, but their good run is something that motivates us. We have an experienced team and we will maintain our philosophy, we won't change anything."

Yesterday's training session was also used to work with some of Fabril's players. Ian Mackay, David Rey, Madrigal, Rub?©n M?©ndez, Rub?©n Gonz??lez, Iv??n Carril and Xisco attended the session while other youngsters also participated: Adri??n, Javi Redondo, Moreiras and Fabrizio (Divisi??n de honor); Rochela and Ra??l (juvenil B).

Yesterday it was revealed that the Spanish Federation won't change the date of the second-leg match between Deportivo and Espanyol.  The Galician club was trying to move the match to the previous Wednesday arguing that the winning club will need more time to prepare for the final. But in the end the authorities decided not to change the date.
