Lotina won’t recover any of the injured players for the game at Malaga, actually the hope is that no new casualties will be announced as Pablo Alvarez battles against a knee sprain. Meanwhile, the rival is having problems in its defence.

On Wednesday Guardado and Sergio worked at the same pace than the rest of the players, the Mexican already worked at the top on Tuesday, but it isn’t expected that any of these two players will be fit enough for Sunday’s game  against Malaga FC (17h00 CET). Neither Mista will be ready as the Murcian will join the trainings until next week. However, Lotina hopes that the three of them will be able to play against RCD Espanyol on the next matchday.

Doctor Manuel Barral talked to reporters and explained the three cases, “Andrés Guardado is doing better than we expected, but we can’t say it’s over yet. Each day he will be working with the team, and in the afternoon he has a new special session. Today he completed the 60-70% of the training. Sergio is also better, and the idea is that both will train at 100% for Saturday. The same with Mista. Today I was reading that Kaka has a chronic pubalgy case, that’s the problem with this disease. You can control it, but is difficult when you play football. We have good expectations but you always have some doubts. We hope to control it and avoid the surgery.”

Who will stay out is Lassad Nouioui, the Tunisian attacker was training with the group on Tuesday, but later the club informed that the striker will spend the next three weeks in France working in a special training centre. The problem is that Lassad is impatient as he sees that his recovery is taking so long and wants a second opinion. Therefore the ex-Fabril, who has been out of action since December, will miss the liga clashes against Malaga FC, RCD Espanyol and CD Xérez.

Doctor Barral analysed the case with reporters, "He has had several muscular injuries, almost all of little consequences, but it has resulted in many problems to re-enter into the squad. We have identified several deficits in the strength and flexibility of his muscle groups. We try to improve this and supplement it with a special work on the pitch, and in the case of Lassad this wasn’t administered in the proper way or he didn’t absorb it well."

“The player himself has been the one proposing an alternative measure; we tried to make him play football, but he had a sense of risk, and that's moving the player to change the model we proposed. He requested to go to a special centre at the French Riviera, we know that place, and we gave the permission, although its philosophy is different from what we believe should be done. There, he will work with isokinetic and constant speed machines. We hope he will return on February 23 to score goals and make us all happy.” The doctor added.

Therefore Lotina isn’t recovering anyone for the clash against Malaga FC, and actually his main hope is not to lose any player of the ones that were available for Real Madrid. The doubt right now is Pablo Alvarez, the winger suffered an ankle sprain on Tuesday and hasn’t been training at the top. However doctors hope he will be ready for Sunday’s game.

Meanwhile, the rival is having big problems in defence; central defender Patrick Mtiliga still out with a nose fracture after been hit by Cristiano Ronaldo, while the other normal starter at the centre of the defence, Brazilian Weligton Robson Pena de Oliveira, is suspended after accumulating five yellow cards. To make things worse, on Wednesday it was confirmed that right-back Jesús Gamez will miss the game against Depor due to an adductor injury, while striker Victor Obinna hasn’t retuned from international duty. At least Duda is already fit to play after surpassing a knee injury sustained in the clash against Atletico Madrid.
