Aranzubia has a shoulder injury, but should be fit to play against Xérez CD, while Lopo already returned from Barcelona. Meanwhile, the rival sees this game as one of its last options to achieve the permanence.

Goalkeeper Daniel Aranzubia missed Wednesday’s training session due to an inflammation in the shoulder, but the doctors expect that he will be fit enough for Saturdays’ clash against Xérez CD. The other news of the day was the return of Sergio and Albert Lopo, the Catalan duo stayed in Barcelona for a couple of more days after the game against Espanyol.

Lopo completed the session without problems, while Sergio and Brayan Angulo were working at the gym in their recovery process. Another player working without any problems is striker Mista, who might be returning after two and a half months out of action due to a groin problem. Also, on Thursday is expected the return of Diego Seoane, the side defender of Fabril that was concentrated with the U-21 squad of Spain.

Coach Miguel Angel Lotina hasn’t tested yet any specific lineup, but the Basque manager already announced that he is studying the return of Riki, Juan Dominguez, Guardado and Pablo Alvarez to the starting formation, which invites to think in an offensive scheme against last-place Xérez. It’s also expected that Juan Rodriguez will replace Antonio Tomás in midfield, the Cantabrian is suspended after been sent off against Espanyol.

Despite their current situation, Xérez’s officials are trying to shake up the things in order to witness a reaction that could guide them to the ‘miracle’ of the permanence. During the week the president of the club, Federico Souza, said to reporters that he will talk personally to all the players in order to motivate them, while he already started to discuss with new coach Néstor Gorosito the composition of the team for next season.

Then the same Gorosito, who was hired one month ago, had a group reunion with his squad and later told to reporters that, “There are enough motives to believe.”, and on the past week, before the game against Real Madrid, the Argentine coach even dared to say that, “I only see two squads that are better than my team.”

For the game at the Riazor, Gorosito is losing Aythami Artiles and Alex Bergantiños, who are inegible to play since Depor’s is their parent club, but the Argentine manager is recovering midfielder Francis (muscular problem) and central defender David Prieto (ankle sprain), this last one has been out for a month and could be going directly into the starting eleven in order to replace Aythami.

Who is willing to enter into the list for the game is Nicolás Vigneri, striker that hasn’t debuted yet after been signed from Mexican Cruz Azul during the winter window. The Uruguayan talked to reporters and said that, “I will love to be picked for this game and if I play it will be better. I’m doing my best in the trainings. I played once against Depor, it was when I was at Cruz Azul and even scored a goal (Teresa Herrera). It will be pretty to play at the Riazor. It is a complicate team. We must think of the three points and can’t lose more opportunities since we are living a complicate situation.”
