Striker Lassad retuned from France and all appoints that he will be ready for Saturday’s game against Tenerife; the opposite case is Juca, who will miss the clash due to a new muscular problem. It is the 17th injury case on this season.

Lassad Nouioui returned from the special training camp in France (Camp 8 Saint-Raphaël) and by Monday was already working at Abegondo. The Tunisian forward traveled there as a desperate measure to put an end to his endless hamstring injuries, and the good thing is that on Tuesday he completed the training session without problems an working at the same pace than the rest of the group.

The striker even told to reporters that he hopes to be fit to play from here to the end of the season, “I hope to play in all the games until the end of the season. That’s my goal, to play until the end of the campaign without sustaining any injury.” He said.

However, Lassad tried to be prudent and said that isn’t sure if he will be ready to play against Tenerife, “I can’t say anything for now. We will see within a month. We must wait, but I am feeling fine. Before leaving, I wasn’t fine. Now I am better, first I need to train and later we will see.”

The ex-Fabril is very content with what he did in France and is thinking in repeating the same during the summer, “If I am feeling fine all this time, then it will mean that the work there was useful. I will talk to the coach and the coaching staff to go there again. But I will keep doing the same things with the physiotherapists and the physical trainer of the club. I am the player of Depor and will keep following the rules of the club.”

Who is going in the opposite direction is midfielder Juca; the new scans made on Monday indicated that the Brazilian suffered a new tear in a muscle of his right thigh, something that the ex-Partizan already suffered in the first round game against Villarreal. The last injury was suffered on Saturday, just one day before the second round clash against the Yellow Submarine. The doctors didn’t want to indicate an exact day for his return, but the midfielder could be out for a month.

Meanwhile, Zé Castro (gastric) and Pablo Alvarez (wound in the head) were already recovered and by Tuesday both trained without problems. But the Portuguese defender asked for permission and traveled to his country in order to solve a personal issue. He will return on Monday and will miss the clash against Tenerife.

The last injury of Juca represents Depor’s injury case number seventeen on the present season:
