Laure is out of the game against Valladolid due to suspension and Lotina needs to find a replacement for the left-back position; the two options are to relocate Manuel Pablo or trust in a player from Deportivo B, Seoane is the main candidate.

With Filipe Luis and Brayan Angulo out injured and with Laure suspended for the upcoming clash against Real Valladolid (Saturday, 18h00 CET), coach Miguel Angel Lotina has now to pick a solution to cover the left-back position at defence. The Basque will probably keep the 4-3-2-1 formation used in Seville and there are two alternative for the mission.

Both solutions involve allowing the debut of a Fabril’s player at Primera División, and there are three candidates: Diego Seoane (21-years-old), Raúl García Granero (20) and Cristian Valle Corrales (20). Of this short list, only Seoane has played an official game with the first team, it was two months ago as he started at the left-back position during the 1-0 win in Copa against Sevilla FC. Curiously, Seoane is a right-footed player, while the other two youngsters are left-footed.

Therefore Seoane is the main candidate to be picked for Saturday’s clash, this is his second year at Deportivo B and has played some matches at the left side of the defence, and since Filipe got injured the Ourense-born player has been always on the bench in case that the coach needs him and has already started to train with the first squad. Meanwhile, Raúl has only trained with Depor’s first squad in a few occasions, while Valle hasn’t been picked yet.

The idea of Lotina is to test these three Fabril’s members during the week and then he will take a final decision. The Basque coach could opt for switching Manuel Pablo to the left and allow the debut of Seoane in his natural position at the right, while the other option is to keep playing with the Canarian at the right side and put the Fabril’s youngster at the left, just as he did in the Copa Del Rey clash against Sevilla FC.
