Thirteen players from Juvenil A have the chance to be promoted to Deportivo B for next campaign; the main candidates to make the jump are keeper Edu, winger Vela and midfielders Richi and Juan Carlos.

The end of the season at the youth teams means that, as always, the coaching staff has to study which players must be promoted to the upper teams. And all the attention is focused in the players from Juvenil A that can be promoted to Deportivo B, because it means the last step before having the chance to reach the first squad of Lotina.

For the coming season Depor Sport is informing that there are thirteen candidates to make this important step: goalkeepers Edu, Enrique, defenders Jose Manuel, Martin, Anxo and Juan Castro, midfielders Vela, Quique, David Rodriguez, Richi, Carlos Vigo and Juan Carlos and striker David Garcia.

Of this short list, five already debuted with Depor B during the past season: Edu, Jose Manuel, Richi, Juan Carlos and Vela. The other two Juvenil A players that performed for a few minutes with Fabril were striker Iago Beceiro and central defender Uxio, two diamonds that still have to complete one more year at Juvenil A.

The truth is that only a few of these thirteen youngsters will have the opportunity to be promoted to Depor B, something thatís normal, but thatís more emphasized on this occasion since the B squad of Deportivo has been promoted to Segunda B, which means a higher requirement for the team.

For the moment four players are the clear favourites for the promotion: keeper Edu, who played two games at Fabril on the season 2009/10, midfielder Richi, who surprised at the end of the past campaign playing ten matches at Tercera, scoring three goals and giving two assists; right winger Diego Vela, who played twenty-eight matches with Depor B, scoring six goals and giving two assists; and playmaker Juan Carlos, who was the Juvenil A player with more minutes at Fabril (1,320 minutes, 32 games) and that scored five goals giving three assists.

Other players in the list like Juan Castro and Jose Manuel could be loaned to some Tercera clubs, this in order to give them the chance to growth and later return in order to succeed at Deportivo B. It is a formula already used in the past with youngsters like Fabrilís captain Dani and right-back defender Diego Seoane.
