BODIPO WILL LEAVE

06 Jul 2010
Rodolfo Bodipo has decided to leave Deportivo after spending three seasons trying to convince Lotina. His agent is searching for a club in England or Portugal, while the club announced that some Primera & Segunda clubs are interested.

It seems that the next player that will leave Deportivo’s squad is Rodolfo Bodipo; the ex-Alavés ends his contract in 2011 and is aware that he doesn’t count for Lotina, reason why he’s already searching for a new destiny. His agent, Javier González, is exploring the market in in Portugal and England, because the attacker wants to play in a foreign league. However, Depor Sport wrote on Monday that some Primera and Segunda clubs are interested on him.

Bodipo arrived in 2006 to Deportivo and was supposed to be the starting striker for the season 2006/07 with Caparrós; but a serious knee injury left him out of action. Since then he has been struggling to get a starting role at Depor’s squad, not even the arrival of Lotina changed his situation as he always started the pre-seasons with the signboard of “discarded”.

The season 2009/10 has marked the lowest point of the Equatoguinean striker at Depor, because he only played fifteen games at Primera División and wasn’t even picked for the last ten matchdays in liga. It was also the first time that he ended scoreless a liga season. Enough arguments to understand why he wants to leave now.
