Perhaps the Fabril’s signing that has awakened the highest expectations is Andre Andre; the Portuguese midfielder shared his thoughts with Depor Sport and said that he dreams with the fact of reaching the first squad of Deportivo.

On the past week the club announced the signing of Andre Andre, a 20-year-old promise that was discovered by Porto’s scouting system and that already performed for the U-19 national team of Portugal. The coaches of Deportivo have high expectations on him and predict that he will reach the first team in a short period of time.

For the moment the player wants to focus on Deportivo B and dreams with the idea of reaching the first squad; during the week he arrived to La Coruña in order to search for a house. Depor Sport seized the opportunity to have a conversation with him.

He started expressing his happiness as he signed for Deportivo, “Each day I am happier for making this step. I already saw the city and it’s pretty, everything is fine. I am only waiting to start the pre-season. My goal is to give my best, work for the team and reach the first squad as soon as possible. I know this is the dream of everybody at Fabril, but I will give everything in order to play at Deportivo.”

A thing that called the attention is that the Portuguese midfielder confessed that he prefers to give assists rather than to score the goals, ”The truth is that I prefer to see people who knows me explaining what my skills are; and am anxious to see the fans watching me to realize about what I can do on the pitch. No matter what, I am a player that likes to perform at the centre of the pitch and that prefers to give assists rather than to score the goals.”.

And it’s that on the past season Andre scored seven goals with his former club, Varzim: He explained how he managed to score those goals, “Without counting the penalties, the true is that the goals that I scored at Varzim were long-range shots. I like to test from long distance, but I prefer to see my team achieving the victory.”

Finally, the new player of Fabril explained the skills of Urreta, another promising signing of Depor and that has performed in Portugal, “He is a player that shines for his technique and velocity. I have watched him in many games and it's very difficult to stop him in one-on-one situations. The true is that he didn’t have too many opportunities at Benfica, but already showed what his skills are. Deportivo made a nice job completing his signing.”
