After Wednesday’s training session coach Miguel Angel Lotina talked to reporters; he gave some hints on the lineup that will face Zaragoza on Sunday. He also talked of the transfer market and the composition of the squad.

Firstly, Depor’s coach confirmed that Asturian keeper Manu is going to start against Los Maños, “Manu is going to play. He is fine and we don’t have any problem. Later he was explaining the signing of ex-Real Madrid keeper Felipe Ramos, ”We signed the player, because he can be a future value of Depor, but right now he must continue working with Sambade (keeper’s trainer) and will perform with Fabril. We opened the door to Felipe, but it’s for five years. Right now he has to improve. Nobody should think that we won’t renew Manu just because we signed Felipe.”

About the other casualties for the match at the Riazor, the coach said that, “We have doubts with Manuel Pablo. Let’s see how he is during the week. Riki is fine and is training without problems, while Lassad and Urreta seem to be fine too, so the only confirmed casualties are Aranzubia and Juan Dominguez.”

Lotina also explained what happened with Juan Dominguez as he got injured in Rome, “After the game against Olimpiakos I forced him to have a massage; and curiously he got injured after that. He has to get used to it, because he plays like when he was at the school: he never changes and neither uses bandages. He has to learn the habits of a professional. I’m talking of having massages and using the bandages. We must educate him.”

Talking of the transfer market, the Basque manager left an open door for a possible new arrival, “I don’t know if somebody new will arrive, but judging by the attitude of the president I would say that yes, though later things could be complicated. “

On Wednesday it was known that Bodipo is returning after been excluded from Romanian club FC Baslui, and after the club failed to reach a loan agreement with Elche, Lotina commented about this matter that, It is an issue of the club and the player. I won’t give my personal opinion. I don’t know how he signed the contract. I just will do what the club tells me to do. I am not worried about this subject right now.”

The Meñaka-born trainer was more specific when he was asked about possible exits, as he assured that Ze Castro and Pablo Alvarez have permission to leave, “On this week I have the feeling that things will be pretty active. Valencia and Espanyol are missing central defenders. It is going to be a busy week and I don’t know if we’ll be able to do something. Until Monday we have the doors opened for the exits and the arrivals, and Ze Castro could be going out, I already spoke to them. I also spoke to Pablo Alvarez. On this year we have five wingers, I told him that if an interesting offer from Primera arrives then I won’t have any problem. He has the doors open, but at the same time I will be content if he stays.”

About the interest of other clubs in central defender Aythami, he commented that, “We already said that he will stay, so in the beginning he’s essential”. Finally, Lotina talked of the left-back position, “Please don’t make comparisons. Filipe is Filipe and good-bye. He’s gone. Now we have two new left-backs and the one that offers the most is the one that will play. You should know that we already attempted the signing of Morel when Filipe was injured. About Raul (Garcia), he needs to be made. The players from the B squad will play when they could be ready, not because they are from our B team, but because they are good. We will continue working with Raul at the B squad.”
