Fabril’s worst game on this start of season; Ramallo’s boys did nothing in the match and their lonely shot on goal came at minute 91, while the Madrilenians just needed three shots on target to score three goals.

Coach Tito Ramallo was still missing playmaker Andre Andre, the Portuguese was injured and for the match he also lost striker Dioni and keeper Felipe Ramos, duo that joined the first team for the visit to Villarreal. Pablo Insua was suspended after been sent off in the previous game.  At the same time Fabril’s coach was recovering Stopira, the left-back was recovered from his muscular problem.

It was a 4-2-3-1 formation; with Diego Rivas returning to the goal; Seoane on the right-back position, Raul Garcia on the left, while Fran Gonzalez was debuting as starter on the season joining David Rochela at the centre of the defence. The two pivotes were captain Dani and Richi, the right wing was for Chirri and the left was for David Añon. Finally, Jona was claiming the role of central attacker.

The rival was Rayo Vallecano B, a team that’s debuting at Segunda B on this season after spending 22 years at Tercera División. The familiar face at the team coached by José Manuel Jimeno is Lucas Pérez Martínez, a 22-year-old striker that was born in La Coruña and that was part of Juvenil B and that also played for Montañeros.

Disaster in Madrid; Deportivo B played an awful match in which it made its first shot on target until minute 91, while its defensive line was too soft to contain a rival that only completed five shots on goal. In the end Ramallo’s team is returning to La Coruña occupying the penultimate place on the table and offering a pale imitation of the team that conquered the Tercera División.

And it’s that nothing happened in the first half an hour of the encounter; Rayo Vallecano B seemed to be waiting to know the real intentions from the visitors, while Fabril never felt comfortable on the pitch. Juan Carlos was lost and the ball wasn’t reaching the boots of Jona,

Suddenly the Madrilenians scored the first goal, Galician Lucas Pérez assisted Daniel González ‘Dani’, who was standing at the edge of the area and then the striker released a strong shot that was impossible for Diego Rivas

Nothing more happened in the first part, a reaction from Fabril was expected ahead of the second part, but instead the locals scored the second goal just two minutes after the break, again Galician Lucas Pérez was the creator of the play as he ran on the left to release a cross into the path of Daniel Provencio, and the striker defeated Diego Rivas with a downward header. It was just the third shot on target from the locals.

Ramallo reacted replacing Juan Carlos with Joshua Corrales, move that switched the system into a 4-4-2, but it didn’t work and soon the coach returned to the 4-2-3-1 as Diego Vieytes entered for Jona. Raul was now the left winger on the team, while Añon switched to the right, allowing Chirri to take a more central role.

Neither this complicate change worked as Rayo Vallecano B was feeling pretty comfortable having the ball possession and a 2-0 advantage in the scoresheet, then Luis Angel entered for Chirri and there was no time to react as just three minutes later the locals scored the third goal, again Lucas Pérez was involved in the play giving hi third assist in the game, this time to midfielder Lorenzo Román ‘Loren’, who beat Diego Rivas with a mid-range shot. This was just the fifth shot on target of the Madrilenians. To mention that Fabril’s lonely shot on goal came until minute 91, and it was an easy shot of Joshua that never represented a problem for local keeper Juan Carlos Martín.

Unfortunate game for a Deportivo B that was a meek rival for Rayo Vallecano B, side that never needed a big effort to surpass the weak defensive line of the Galicians, and that didn’t even had to face any problem at their own back zone. This new setback, the third in a row for Fabril, is leaving Ramallo’ team at the penultimate place at the standings. Now Fabril returns to Abegondo in order to face Real Madrid Castilla on Sunday (12h00 CET)
