The draw against Sevilla has demonstrated one more time the lack of effectiveness at home. 28 is the number of points that the Galicians have lost so far in Riazor, a fact that could cost a place in the next European season. A similar situation to the one occurred in the past campaign.

During the last season Depor accumulated six wins, seven draws and six defeats at the Riazor. On the current campaign the number of victories and defeats are the same and the only difference are the five draws that Depor accumulates so far. The last two home matches will decide if the Galicians are able to surpass last season's poor record, and maybe it will influence in the qualification to the next UEFA cup.

It's clear that the away games are the pillars in which Deportivo has based their current aspirations, with eight wins away from the Riazor, the club only needs one more victory to reach the historic record of wins in Primera. But the consolidation at home is also important since the other teams fighting for a UEFA spot are maintaining a good rhythm.

So far it seems that the qualification to the next UEFA cup reacquires 60 points, Deportivo has conquered 51, meaning that a victory in each one of the three away matches that reminds in the calendar is enough to secure the spot. But any failure will need to be solved at home. It must be also remembered that the visit of Celta is important since the Galician neighbour is also fighting for a European place, and the victory will give an important boost in order to achieve the goal.

The arrival of coach Caparr??s hasn't solved the problems of the Galicians when they play at the Riazor, even the record of goals scored at home (18) is one of the worst in la liga. The lack of ideas upfront and the poor record of the strikers have been appointed as the main reason for this poor home record. In fact, of the eighteen goals scored at the Riazor only six were conquered by the strikers. Caparr??s still has to find the solutions to this problems, but everyday he has less time. The derby against Celta could be a decisive game in order to improve this numbers... and also to give an important step into Europe.
