Aranzubia, Urreta, Pablo Alvarez and Juan Dominguez will be available for next Sunday’s match against Osasuna, while the return of Riki is expected for the visit to Real Sociedad.

Coach Miguel Angel Lotina promised changes after the humiliating defeat against Real Madrid, and the good thing is that he will have more resources to make those modifications as the Basque man is recovering important men ahead of the clash against Osasuna (Riazor, October 17, 17h00 CET).

Since the past season the injuries have been a constant threat for Deportivo and Lotina, but now the situation seems to be returning to “normal mode”. And it’s that four of the seven men that were dragging injuries for the clash at the Bernabéu are set to return in the match against the Navarrans.

Starting with Daniel Aranzubia; the Basque keeper has been out since the pre-season due to a shoulder problem. The doctors and the coaching staff were pretty cautious with him and despite been healed since one month ago his return was delayed until the visit to Real Madrid, match in which he was the substitute keeper. Now it’s expected that he will be the starter against Osasuna.

Jonathan Urreta is also coming back; he got injured on September 20 after a collision with Arizmendi in the clash with Getafe, it was informed that he suffered a knee sprain and that he will be sidelined between three and four weeks, and now it seems that he will return four weeks after sustaining the problem. The Uruguayan was the starter at the right wing within the first liga matchdays, and since his exit Lotina hasn’t been satisfied with the alternatives used to cover his absence.

The third man returning is Juan Dominguez; the Galician midfielder started the liga season with an adductor problem that he suffered before the friendly game against Lazio. He has been training with normality since the past week and even on Saturday he took part of the training match played before the trip to the Bernabéu. It isn’t probable that Dominguez will be part of the starting eleven that will face Osasuna, but at least he has big chances of been on the bench.

Also right winger Pablo Alvarez is back, he joined the trainings on Wednesday; “The Shark “ has been out of the last three games due to a thigh problem (adductor) and now he’s fit to play. Meanwhile, it is expected that striker Riki will be back for the trip to Anoeta in order to face Real Sociedad (October 23 or 24). The Madrilenian attacker only played ten minutes against Getafe, but it was enough to suffer a grade two muscular injury on his right thigh.

Meanwhile, Ze Castro skipped Wednesday’s session due to hamstring problem, same injury that forced him to leave the pitch before the final whistle against Real Madrid, but the Portuguese should be ready for Osasuna. Therefore playmakers Valerón and Michel should be the only renters at the injury room. The Canarian suffered a tear in a muscle on his right thigh during a training session and should be back in November, while the Valencian will return until March of 2011 after going through surgery in order to correct a meniscus problem.
