Deportivo is the Primera club that has used more players after six matchdays (23), and itís that Lotina has only missed to count with Aranzubia, Juan Dominguez and Pablo Alvarez. The first two injured since the pre-season.

Coach Miguel Angel Lotina still without finding a fixing starting eleven for the liga encounters; the poor results achieved so far and the injuries have forced him to test different alternatives, some of them were desperate measures that didnít work.

All of this can simply be noticed analyzing the number of players used in the lineups after just six matchdays: twenty-three men; number thatís the highest among the twenty clubs competing at Primera Divisiůn. And itís that until now Lotina has only missed to use right winger Pablo Alvarez, midfielder Juan Dominguez and goalkeeper Daniel Aranzubia.

The last two men have been injured since the pre-season, but both might debut in the next game against Osasuna as they are already recovered from their injuries. In the case of Pablo he was discarded for technical reasons in the first two matches and missed the last four due to a thigh problem.

The only two men that have been starters in the first six games were keeper Manu and central defender Albert Lopo, and curiously it has been commented that both may stay out of the starting eleven for the upcoming clash at the Riazor; in the case of the Asturian keeper, because Aranzubia is returning, and in the case of the Catalan defender for his poor presentations within the last games, especially the match against Real Madrid.

In the other hand, the three men that has had lesser opportunities are left-back Knut RindarÝy, and central defenders Aythami Artiles and Ze Castro. Norwegian RindarÝy has only played the ninety minutes against Almeria, while Ze Castro played 66 minutes against Real Madrid, the Portuguese had to be replaced in that game, and actually the one that took his spot was Canarian Aythami, who only accumulates 34minutes on the pitch.

Another noticed fact is that Lotina has taken some desperate measures at some positions, more specifically at the right wing and the playmaking function. The injuries of Michel and Valerůn forced him to test alternatives like Desmarets, who was told of his new role just minutes before the kick-off against Sevilla, and more recently Saul Fernandez, a right winger that never before played on that position, but that did it against Real Madrid.

The right wing has also been a headache for the Basque manager; Urreta is the preferred man of the coach, but since his injury at matchday 03, three different men have been used on that position: Saul, Desmarets and Juan Rodriguez, and neither of them fulfilled the expectations.
