GOOD RESULTS FOR THE INTERNATIONAL PLAYERS

Deporís international players achieved positive results during the weekend; the exception was Claudio Morel, though the game of Paraguay was only a friendly Adrian even scored a goal with Spainís U-21 team.

Adrian was the big winner of the weekend as he scored a goal and his nation clinched a victory ahead of the UEFA U-21 championship. Ruben Perez was part of the same match. Lassad and RindarÝy also achieved victories with their nations, though both men didnít play. Stopira added an important draw and the only one that lost was Claudio Morel.

Spainís U-21 squad is playing the Play-off for Final Tournament of the UEFA U-21 tournament against Croatia; on Saturday the first-leg was disputed in Spain and striker Adrian Lůpez was a starter in the match playing the full ninety minutes, actually Deporís attacker was pretty active and had three clear scoring opportunities, one of them meant the first goal for the Spaniards after collecting a pass from Thiago AlcŠntara and crossing visiting keeper Kelava.

In the end Spain won the game with a narrow 2-1 score, now it will travel to Croatia trying to keep the narrow advantage (the second-leg will be played on Tuesday). To mention that the other Deporís member in the squad, midfielder Ruben Pťrez, was also a starter in the match and also played the full ninety minutes.

Meanwhile, left-back defender Claudio Morel played eighty minutes in the 0-1 loss against Australia; the match was a friendly disputed in Sydney. On Tuesday Paraguay will play a new friendly match in the same geographic zone, this time against New Zealand (Wespac Stadium, Wellington).

The other left-back defender at Depor, Knut Olav RindarÝy, didnít participate in the 2-1 win of Norway over Cyprus as part of the UEFA Euro 2012 qualifiers, actually Deporís defender wasnít even in the bench for the game. Norway is the leader in group H with three wins in three games. Norway wonít play more qualifying games until March of 2011, but on Tuesday it will visit Zagreb in order to play against Croatia in a friendly match.

In Africa, other two players having a good result were Stopira and Lassad Nouioui; Cape Vert and Stopira achieved a 0-0 draw in Zimbabwe, point that leaves the Islanders at the top of the group after their initial win over Mali. Fabrilís defender played the full ninety minutes. Meanwhile Tunisia clinched an important 2-1 win in Togo and stayed second in the group. Deporís striker wasnít part of the game.

Finally, Andrťs Guardado will play with Mexico a friendly match against Venezuela; the game will be played in Ciudad JuŠrez on Wednesday (04h00 CET). The coaching staff of Depor will have to wait until Friday in order to know the physical state of the winger ahead of the home meeting with Osasuna.
