Lotina is planning to introduce Pablo Álvarez in the starting squad that will face Racing Santander on Sunday; the idea is to put ‘The Shark’ on the right and move Adrian to the centre of the attack.

Coach Miguel Ángel Lotina will continue trusting in the same block that has achieved the latest positive results; since the Basque manager switched to the system with five defenders he has only made three modifications in the starting eleven that have disputed the liga matches, and all of those modifications occurred in attack.

And for the visit to Racing Santander, he is planning a new modification in the same zone, because Lotina is eager to reward Pablo Álvarez for his great goal against Málaga; on Thursday ‘The Shark’ was tested as the playmaker performing towards the right wing; French Yves Desmarets will do the same job on the left and Adrian will be moved to the centre of the attack after been one of the two playmakers in recent matches.

This modification is sending Dioni back to Fabril; the Andalusian striker made his debut as starter in the past liga against Málaga FC, and today he is returning to the B squad in order to lead the attack for the home match against UB Conquense (Abegondo, 17h00 CET).

For this reason Pablo Álvarez was on the spotlight during Thursday and Friday, after all this will be his first game as starter on the liga season; he was commenting the issue with reporters, “I’m feeling comfortable and to score a goal always brings something more. It will be a special game against Racing; let’s hope I could have some minutes and help the team, which in the end is the important thing.”

"I try to do my job, and must trust in my skills to help the team; if I have a chance on Sunday then I will do my best and I will do my best, as I always do. If things go well, then it will be fine, if not, then this is football and it is what it is. The important thing is that the team wins. On a personal level I will try to exploit the opportunity, if I have it, but always calmly and with confidence." He added.

The rest of the team should be the same one; with Dani Aranzubia at the goal; Manuel Pablo covering the right-back spot, Diego Seoane on the left, while Diego Colotto, Aythami Artiles and Albert Lopo will play at the centre of the defence. The Catalan hasn’t trained during the week due to a hamstring problem, but he should be ready to play on Sunday. Finally, at midfield, Rubén Pérez and Juan Rodriguez will cover the pivote spots

Left-back defender Knut Rindarřy, central defender Ze Castro, striker Lassad Nouioui and right winger Jonathan Urreta are fit to play after completing all the training sessions on the week and even playing a training match against Fabril, and on Saturday Lotina will choose if the four of them will be picked for the trip to Santander, though in any case they will be on the bench.
