It’s the main novelty for Monday’s match against Hércules: the return of Jonathan Urreta. The Uruguayan will be part of the starting squad after almost three months out; meanwhile Lotina has doubts on who should be the other playmaker in the formation.

Against Hércules FC (Monday, Riazor, 21h00 CET) coach Miguel Angel Lotina will keep playing with the same 5-2-2-1 system used since the Copa clash against Osasuna; the main novelty is the return of Jonathan Urreta, who hasn’t been a starter since September 20, day in which he sustained an ankle sprain during the home match against Getafe.

The idea of the Basque coach is to put him on the playmaker’s role, more precisely the one that performs towards the right wing. Despite the poor results at the start of the season, Urreta was considered as one of the most surprising players at Deportivo’s team, but his injury blocked his progress and it was until the past visit to Racing Santander that he had the chance to play for a few minutes –the Uruguayan performed for 20 minutes after replacing Pablo Álvarez-

Meanwhile, Lotina has doubts on who should play in the other two attacking positions in his scheme, surely Adrian will be part of the game, but the question is in which position. He could stay as at the central attacker as he did against Racing, but a possibility is to put him on the left wing and then allow the entry of Lassad Nouioui; the Tunisian hasn’t been a starter since the 0-0 draw against Osasuna at the Riazor (October 17).

But if Adrian stays as the central attacker, then the position on the left will be for Pablo Álvarez, Saul Fernandez or Yves Desmarets. The Shark and Desmarets were the two playmakers in the past match with Racing, but their disappointing performance could move the coach to trust in Saúl.

The rest of the starting team will be the same one of the past three matches; with Dani Aranzubia at the goal; Manuel Pablo at the right-back position; Diego Seoane on the left, while the three central defenders will be Albert Lopo, Aythami Artiles and Diego Colotto. Finally, the two spots at midfield will be for Juan Rodriguez and Ruben Pérez.

Apart from Seoane, Lotina will not count with any other player from Fabril; Rochela and Dioni were sent back to the B squad ahead of the match against Atletico Madrid B (Sunday, 17h00), which means that Ze Castro will be included in the final list for Monday’s match.

The only casualties for injury reasons will be Juca, Michel and Riki; to mention that Guardado is already recovered, but will be reserved for the visit to Atletico Madrid as precaution measure. Finally, Paraguayan Claudio Morel will miss the match as he travelled to his home country in order to deal with a personal problem.
