For the second straight time Lotina is having a healthy squad ahead of a liga match, only Desmarets is out, though the French winger is already training. Meanwhile, Malaga sees the next two games as the decisive moment on the season.

For the first time on this liga season coach Miguel Ángel Lotina saw how all the players at the first team -26 plus Rindarøy- were working at Abegondo without having any physical problem. The last man at the injury room was Yves Desmarets, who was dragging an adductor injury from the past week.

The French winger joined the trainings on Thursday, though it is expected that he won’t be picked for Sunday’s game against Malaga CF (La Rosaleda, 17h00 CET) as a precaution measure. Therefore, and for the second straight time, Lotina has plenty of choices in order to build his lineup for the important match against the Andalusians.

On Wednesday it called the attention that both Ze Castro and Rindarøy continued training after the end of the session, the duo completed a series of physical exercises in the attempt to improve their physical condition. The Portuguese defender is no longer part of the plans of the coach, while the Norwegian is unable to play in la liga after been disenrolled during the winter window. Also to remember that Javito still waiting for the resolution of his case.

By Thursday, the novelty was to see Fabril’s central defender Diego Vieytes training with the first team, the 21-year-old Galician youngster is suspended for Saturday’s match between Deportivo B and CP Cacereño, reason why Lotina wanted to see him training with the rest of the first team.

The media in La Coruña was expecting for Thursday’s training session in order to get the first hints of the possible lineup to be used on Sunday, after all Lotina said that he was going to take decisions since this training, but in the end the coach didn’t test any lineup, which should indicate that he still doubting after having a full squad available. Now, he will decide the formation until Saturday, day in which the team w ill train behind closed doors at the Riazor.

Meanwhile, Malaga CF is getting out of options; the Andalusian team has spent the last twelve matchdays inside the relegation zone and, with only eight games remaining in the schedule, they need to react now if they want to achieve the salvation. And the coming two games are crucial as they will face Depor and Mallorca at La Rosaleda.

For the game coach Manuel Pellegrini will have the important casualty of central defender Robson Pena de Oliveira´Weligton’, who is serving a two-game suspension after been sent off a month ago in a match against Valencia CF. What happened was that Malaga appealed the decision to the competition committee, but it was rejected two weeks ago, so the defender missed the game against Levante and now the clash with Depor. He is the player at the squad with more minutes on the liga season -2,340-

Another important casualty is midfielder Julio Baptista, one of the signings during the winter window; the Brazilian was operated in February due to a knee injury (meniscus) and started to train on this week, but the game against Depor is too soon for him and his comeback is expected for the clash against RCD Mallorca. The ex-Sevilla man has scored two goals in five games with the team.

At least Pellegrini is recovering striker Juan Miguel Jiménez ´Juanmi’, who was dragging an adductor injury from the past week. The 17-year-old attacker has been one of the few positive surprises on the season as he has scored four goals in thirteen games.
