Lotina is planning to use the same lineup that defeated Athletic Bilbao one week ago, which means a 4-3-3 figure with the novelties of Guardado and Juan Rodriguez, duo that missed the last clash against Barcelona.

Coach Miguel Ángel Lotina already has the lineup for the crucial meeting against Valencia CF, a game that will decide the permanence of Deportivo at Primera División. And it isn’t a surprise, because it’s the same 4-3-3 draw that impressed during the matches against Sporting Gijón and Athletic Bilbao.

The only difference between both games was the presence of Aythami at the centre of the defense for the meeting with Sporting, this since Lopo was suspended. In both games Lotina used a figure with two strikers playing towards the wings and Valerón acting as a playmaker in the middle of them. Guardado was joining the two pivotes and was switching positions with the attackers in order to open the gaps at the rival’s defense.

Now the novelties are the return of Andrés Guardado and Juan Rodriguez, duo that missed the last game at the Camp Nou as they were dragging knocks from the previous two games. They have been training without any problem during this week and are ready to play. Who will miss the clash are Antonio Tomás (muscular) and Ze Castro (knee), duo that was training apart on Thursday.

It is expected that Daniel Aranzubia will be at the goal, Laureano Sanabria ´Laure’ will cover the right-back position, Manuel Pablo will cover the left side at defense, and the central positions should be for Albert Lopo and Diego Colotto.

At midfield, Guardado will be joined by Rubén Pérez and Juan Rodriguez; then Juan Carlos Valerón will be the playmaker in the formation, with Adrian López and Riki on the sides. The presence of Madrilenian Riki is one of the novelties compared to the previous game with Barcelona, this since Lassad Nouioui was the one that claimed the spot in attack during the visit to the Camp Nou.

Finally to inform that playmaker Michel is available for the meeting against Valencia; on Wednesday RCDLC.com reported that he is ineligible to play as it is his parent club, but on Thursday the Galician club explained to website El Depor.com that there's no clause on the loan contract with Valencia forbidding him to play.
