Depor Sport is releasing the first details about the pre-season of the team ahead the campaign 2011/12; so far the club wants to play eight friendly matches, including the Teresa Herrera tournament.

One month before the start of the pre-season and Deportivo already has a first plan for the team of José Luis Oltra; as it was announced before the team will start to work on July 12and will spend the first five days working at Abegondo.

Then, between July 18 and 24, the first team of Deportivo will travel to Vilalba and will be concentrated at hotel Attica21, a four-star hotel that will be the base for the pre-season stage. The club has planned to complete eight friendly games in the whole pre-season, and at least four of these meetings will take place during the stage in Vilalba.

The first one is scheduled for July 23 against Racing Vilalbés, though there isn’t an official confirmation, it will probably take place at A Magdalena stadium; and on Wednesday the club closed a second friendly in Negreira as part of the Jesús García Calvo Memorial; this match is scheduled for July 27, though the name of the rival still to be announced. Depor’s plans for the other two games during the stage in Vilalba are to dispute them in Lugo and Pontevedra; the club still working in the dates and names of the rivals.

The other four friendly matches will be disputed after the stage in Vilalba, Depor Sport informed that two of them will be played in Portugal against rivals to be announced, while the other two matches will probably be disputed at the Riazor, one of them will be the Teresa Herrera, tournament that once again will be disputed under the figure of a one-game Cup, again the rival will probably be Atlético Madrid.
