Andrés Guardado is, officially, the only player of Deportivo at the summer market, but until now the offers aren’t passing the mark of the €5 million, just when Lendoiro is requesting €8 million.

Lendoiro knows that Andrés Guardado is the best asset at the club and is ready to capitalise its presence at the Galician club, but it doesn’t mean that his exit will be easy, actually all appoints that the operation will last some weeks and shouldn’t be strange to see the player leaving until the last days of the transfer market.

Guardado ends his contract in June of 2012 and this could be the last chance to collect some money with his transfer; Lendoiro said in past weeks that he has presented a renewal offer to the player, but nothing more has been said and it’s pretty clear that the player wants to leave now.

So far the Mexican winger has been linked with Sporting Clube de Portugal, SL Benfica, Olympique Lyonnais and Olympique Marseille, but the true is that until now the club has just received an offer for €5 million, proposition that was rejected as Lendoiro wants €8 million.

The last thing know is that Valencia FC might be interested in the ex-Atlas man; according to the media in Valencia Los Ches could try to sign Guardado in case that Juan Mata is transferred to Barcelona, Manchester City or Arsenal. But at this point there are no contacts between both clubs.

In the meantime, the agent of the winger, Mario Ordiales, will arrive to La Coruña in two weeks in order to meet any possible offer for his services. It seems improbable that by that moment the club will have any offer for him, so the winger will be at Abegondo on July 19 as on that day he will start the pre-season with the team.
