Lendoiro is pending in signing a new striker, but also has to resolve the problem of the discarded players. Three are the men that are out of the plans of coach Oltra, while Guardado and Rubén Pérez are also at the door out.

The competition at Liga Adelante starts in three weeks and president Augusto César Lendoiro still has some pending issues regarding the composition of Deportivo’s squad. For the moment the president has emphasized the arrival of the reinforcements and at this point he has signed five new players, n only waiting to concrete the arrival or one or two strikers.

But the biggest pending issue for Lendoiro is the resolution of the cases with the players that doesn’t count for Oltra, these cases are striker Rodolfo Bodipo, playmaker Iván Pérez and left-back defender Claudio Morel. This trio has been sidelined from the last two friendly games and none of them have offers coming from other clubs.

Each one of these cases is different, and are complicated; on last season Bodipo did everything he could in order to go out loaned, now he seems to have a different view and wants to stay despite that Oltra already told him that he is out of the plans. He still has two years in his contract.

During the week he was explaining his positions to reporters, "I am not throwing the towel; I have my priorities and my will is to stay [at Depor]. Oltra has his priorities and we must respect that. I have a lot of experience and we must know how to wait.”

Iván Pérez was the first player that started to train during the pre-season and was also the first man discarded during the pre-season; it seems some Segunda clubs were interested in him, but no offer has been presented to Lendoiro. The club already told him that there won’t be any problem to allow his exit, but first he must find a new destiny. The Galician player ends his contract with Depor in June of 2012.

Morel also ends his contract on next year; he was linked with Cerro Porteño in Paraguay but his wages were too high for the South American club. It was also commented that he was negotiating the cancelation of his contract, but the player is refusing to lose money.

Meanwhile, other two players at the door out are Andrés Guardado and Rubén Pérez; Oltra counts with both of them, but the point is that they want to leave. For the moment the club is waiting to receive a proper offer for them and if the proposition doesn’t arrive then they will stay and will leave during next summer. Any other exit from the team will be considered as unexpected. There are still rumours linking Daniel Aranzubia with Malaga CF, but Lendoiro won’t allow his exit so easily.
