Juan Carlos Real has convinced coach Oltra, and despite not been promoted on a permanent basis, the young playmaker will be alternating between the first squad and Fabril.

New coach Oltra has stated that 21-year-old playmaker Juan Carlos Real has earned an opportunity at the first team ahead of the season 2011/12. It was one of the conclusions from the pre-season that the Valencian coach explained after the game against Racing de Ferrol.

“I said it since the beginning, any player having the proper conditions will have a chance to play, I don’t care if he is from Vigo or La Coruña. Juan Carlos will be with the first team throughout the season; don’t know how many minutes will he play… actually I know, but if he isn’t with us then he will be playing with the B team, but Juan Carlos will be near to the first team. He will be earning a spot.” Oltra told to reporters.

It clearly means that the Galician player will be alternating between the first team and Deportivo B during the regular season, an important step for a playmaker that mostly performed as a centre midfielder during the pre-season matches.

The true is that it shouldn’t be a surprise, because Juan Carlos has passed through almost all the youth teams at Deportivo after joining Alevín A back on 2002. Two years ago he was promoted to Deportivo B and last season was the best news at the team that disappointed with the relegation to Tercera División. Now he has the golden chance to demonstrate that the young teams of Deportivo are ready to help is the so-desired promotion to Primera.
