The transfer market closes its door on Wednesday and Rubén Pérez still at Deportivo; Lendoiro is also waiting to receive offers for Guardado, while he has to decide what to do with the players that don’t count for Oltra.

It seemed that the soap-opera case of Rubén Pérez was defined after the arrival of Borja Fernandez to Deportivo. The Andalusian midfielder even traveled to Madrid in order to pass the medicals at Getafe. At the time it was commented that the deal with Atletico Madrid and Getafe was an exchange that will also mean an income of €500,000 for Depor.

Borja was presented at Depor on the past week, but the official announcement of Rubén Perez’s exit was never made, the player returned to La Coruńa on the weekend and was saw during Saturday’s meeting with Recreativo, and even took part of the training session held on Sunday at Abegondo.

Lendoiro explained during the weekend that the player was going to stay if Atletico and Getafe aren’t able to accept what he is asking for. The media in La Coruńa believes that Lendoiro wants a complex deal that hasn’t been accepted yet as it could include the rights over a young player at Atletico. The transfer markets closes its doors on Wednesday, therefore there are only two days to define the status of Ruben. The player didn’t want to talk to reporters about the issue.

It isn’t the only unsolved case in the briefcase of Lendoiro; the president still wishing to receive a proper offer for winger Andrés Guardado. A lot has been commented on the issue; the latest is that Sevilla CF might be interested in him, apparently some kind of swap deal involving three players. For now Lendoiro maintains silence.

Finally, Oltra has discarded four players for the new season: striker Rodolfo Bodipo, left-back Claudio Morel, playmaker Iván Pérez Maceiras and right-back Diego Seoane. Lendoiro has two days to find a team for them, if not they will stay at Depor, but probably without having too many opportunities.
