More injury worries for Oltra; the scans have confirmed the problems of Ayoze, Saul and Pablo Álvarez, while Bruno Gama has suffered a relapse. The only good news is that Borja Fernandez is now training at the top.

Five players had physical problems during the visit to Barcelona B; of this short list only Diego Colotto is escaping from the plague of injuries that’s striking Deportivo. The Argentine central defender was replaced during the meeting at the Mini Stadi, but later it was known that it was just for precaution reasons, so he should be available for the home clash against CE Sabadell (Saturday 180 CET).

But things are different with the other four men; left-back Ayoze Diaz sustained an ankle sprain on his right leg and was replaced during the first half, the latest scans confirmed the injury and the Canarian should be out for at least two weeks.

Neither Pablo Álvarez ended the match with Barca B, and the latest scans determined that he sustained a hamstring strain injury on his left thigh, meaning that he will be out for at least two weeks. Similar is the case of Saul, the Asturian was able to end the match, but suffered hamstring strain injury on his right thigh.

Xisco wasn’t part of Sunday’s meeting, he was picked for the event, but was a last-minute casualty due to an adductor problem. He will pass new scans on Wednesday in order to determine if he could be ready for the meeting at the Riazor.

To make things worse, Bruno Gama didn’t end Tuesday’s training session as he suffered a relapse from his groin problem; the Portuguese player is dragging the injury from the pre-season and it was expected that he could be making his official debut on Saturday, now Oltra has been left without any of his three right wingers for the next clash in liga. Riki and Manuel Pablo are evolving from their injuries, but they won’t return before Sunday.

The only good news is that on Tuesday centre midfielder Borja Fernandez made his first complete training session working at the same pace than the rest of players, however he is lacking match fitness and it isn’t probable that he will be picked for the meeting with Sabadell.
