Ayoze Díaz passed a late test on Thursday and he has big options of been a starter against Sabadell, but Xisco didn’t past the test and represents the seventh casualty for tomorrow’s meeting at the Riazor.

Mixed news from Abegondo; on Thursday both Ayoze Diaz and Francisco Jiménez Tejada ‘Xisco’ were scheduled to past a late test in order to determine if they could be fit for the liga meeting with Sabadell (Saturday, 18h00 CET).

Ayoze was dragging an ankle sprain from the past meeting with Barcelona B; it was speculated that he could be out for two weeks, but in the end he has surpassed the problem and will be available for the meeting with the Catalans. It means good news for coach Oltra as was only having one available side defender for the meeting: Laure.

But the negative thing is that Xisco didn’t pass the test as he hasn’t surpassed a knock on his adductor muscles, problem that he is dragging from the liga meeting with Hércules CF. The casualty of the Majorcan striker will force Oltra to pick Rodolfo Bodipo for the meeting, this in order to be on the bench as the backup for Lassad Nouioui

The absence of Xisco is raising the number of casualties for the match to seven; the other players out are Bruno Gama (groin), Riki (Soleus) Manuel Pablo, Saul and Pablo Álvarez (the three of them with a hamstring injury). The last name on the list is centre midfielder Borja Fernandez (groin); he is training at the top with his team mates, but doesn’t have the Okay from the doctors.

To mention that Pablo Álvarez will take advantage of the fact that his injury means to be out of action for three weeks, this since he will be operated from the nose fracture suffered during a friendly game on the pre-season. It’s expected that the winger will join the training sessions in twenty-one days.
