After the disaster in Alcorcón, Oltra will only make two changes to the starting eleven; firstly because of the injuries, and later because he wants to transmit a sense of confidence to the players.

José Luis Oltra said on Thursday that he doesn’t know yet if he will make a lot of changes to the team ahead of the clash with CD Guadalajara (Saturday, 16h00 CET). However, the injuries won’t allow a revolution in the formation after the big defeat at AD Alcorcón (0-4).

And it’s that the Valencian coach will have eight casualties for the meeting; six of them are for injury reasons: Bruno Gama (groin), Manuel Pablo (hamstring, Pablo Álvarez (nose fracture/hamstring) and Borja Fernandez (groin), Saul Fernandez (hamstring strain) and Riki (Soleus).

Meanwhile two defenders are suspended: Diego Colotto and Laureano Sanabria ‘Laure’; the casualties are leaving Oltra only with eighteen players available for the meeting, which means that he doesn’t have enough deep to make a lot of changes. Besides, the coach wants to transmit a sense of confidence and for this reason only two changes are expected at the starting formation that lost at Santo Domingo.

And those changes are related to the suspensions at defense; Ze Castro will replace Colotto at the centre, while Diego Seoane will claim the spot at the left as both Manuel Pablo and Laure are unavailable.

The rest of the team should be the same one; with Daniel Aranzubia defending the goal; Ayoze Diaz performing on the left-back position and Aythami Artiles joining Ze Castro at the centre of the defense. There is the doubt if Oltra could will give a chance to Juan Dominguez at midfield, but the most probable thing is that Jesús Vázquez and Álex Bergantiños will keep performing as the two pivotes in the formation.

Andrés Guardado will keep playing at the right wing as the three players at the squad for this position are injured; Diogo Salomão will cover the left flank, Juan Carlos Valerón will be the playmaker in the formation and Lassad Nouioui will be the central attacker. The team will have a training session on Friday and then Oltra will release the list of picked players, which shouldn’t be surprising as there are only 18 men available for the game.
