Oltra only has two confirmed casualties for Sunday’s game as he plans to return to the usual lineup in liga, while Las Palmas has four casualties due to the suspensions.

Only striker Xisco and left-back defender Claudio Morel are discarded ahead of the visit to UD Las Palmas (Sunday, 12h00 CET, Estadio de Gran Canaria). The Majorcan attacker completed the full session on Wednesday, but his endless muscular problems are moving the doctors to hold on him until next year, neither the Paraguayan defender is ready to return as he isn’t recovered from his hip problem.

There’s one doubt at the squad as Rodolfo Bodipo didn’t complete the last training session as he is dragging a knee problem; the Equatoguinean attacker sustained the injury on Tuesday’s match in Copa after suffering a nasty foul by Levante’s Héctor Rodas, who was sent off after committing this foul.

Oltra will probably return to the starting formation that defeated Numancia on the past weekend, but the solid performance of some players in the Copa clash with Levante invites to question if the coach will present novelties.

And the main doubt is at the wings, without doubt the best part of the team on this season; and it’s that “substitutes” Saul Fernandez and Pablo Álvarez were the best men on the pitch, they even scored the goals, the problem is that the performance of Bruno Gama and Guardado in liga is blocking any possible change, without forgetting that Diogo Salomão is also waiting for a chance. So, Oltra has five valid choices for only two spots at the lineup.

Meanwhile, UD Las Palmas is having its own problems; coach Juan Manuel Rodríguez has four suspended players for the clash. The main one is Javi Guerrero, who was sent off during the visit to FC Cartagena. The Madrilenian has scored eight goals in the past against Depor (five with Racing Santander and three with Recreativo).

There are other three suspended players: left-back defender Enrique Corrales, plus midfielders Sergio Suárez and Francis Suárez. The first two are important casualties for the team as they are normal starters, remembering that Sergio Suárez is the best assistor at Segunda División (6).

There were two doubts due to injury reasons: midfielder David González (ankle sprain) and left-back Ruymán Hernández (muscular), but both joined the trainings on Wednesday and it’s even commented that they will be starters against Depor. Playmaker Jonathan Viera is also returning after been suspended for the past clash with FC Cartagena.
