For the first time on the season Oltra could be repeating the starting lineup in five straight matches, which is a reflection of the good results achieved within the last month.

Deportivo is undefeated within the last four liga meetings, and the common thing in that period is that coach José Luis Oltra has repeated the same starting eleven, and now he’s ready to do the same ahead of Saturday’s clash against Xérez CD.

Daniel Aranzubia will be defending the goal, while the defensive line should continue with Laureano Sanabria ‘Laure’ performing at the right-back position, Ayoze Diaz playing at the left side and the central positions covered by Diego Colotto and Ze Castro.

The Galician couple Juan Dominguez-Álex Bergantiños will continue performing on the pivote functions, Portuguese Bruno Gama is the owner of the spot at the right wing, while Mexican Andrés Guardado, one of the Pichichis at the team, will attack from the left flank.

Juan Carlos Valerón will continue at the playmaking function, while Lassad Nouioui will be the central attacker.  The Tunisian is the other top-scorer at the team with seven goals in favour; he is close to break his best mark at the club, which is eight goals scored with Fabril during two straight seasons (2007/08 and 2008/09).

Without changes at the starting team, the novelties are expected to occur in the players that will be on the bench. Aythami Artiles is doubtful as he skipped Thursday’s training due to a virus, however Oltra said on Thursday that the Canarian will be fit for Saturday; in any case David Rochela is waiting for an opportunity. Striker Xisco might be the big novelty in the list that Oltra will release today, the Majorcan attacker has been out for almost four months.

The most difficult decision for Oltra is to choose the replacements for the wingers position; Saul and Pablo Álvarez are waiting for a recall after offering some good presentations in Copa –though Saul was sent off the last time- but it will be difficult for both of them as Diogo Salomão is the preferred choice of the coach.
