Four casualties at Deportivo ahead of the match at the Nuevo Colombino stadium, but Oltra still waiting news on Ze Castro, who passed new scans on Wednesday; the rival, meanwhile, made several moves during the winter transfer window.

Coach Oltra has four confirmed casualties for the visit to Recreativo (Sunday, 16h00 CET); starting with Ayoze Diaz; the left-back was sent off in the past meeting with FC Cartagena and, despite the club appealed the red card, the decision was ratified on Wednesday, so the Canarian is suspended for the clash. Claudio Morel and Diego Seoane are the candidates to replace him.

Meanwhile, the two casualties due to injury reasons are Lassad Nouioui and Manuel Pablo; the Canarian defender joined the trainings on Wednesday, but he just completed part of the session with his team mates and surely will have to wait until next season in order to have the chance to be picked. The Tunisian attacker continues working at the gym and should be back at the end of the month.

The last casualty for the game is Rodolfo Bodipo, the striker is participating in the CAN African Cup of Nations and his team, Equatorial Guinea, is going to face Cote D’Ivoire in the quarterfinals of the competition, that game will be played on Saturday.

For now Oltra is waiting news on Ze Castro; the Portuguese central defender was dragging a thigh problem from the last match at the Riazor, actually he had a bandage during the second half before Cartagena and didn’t take part of Monday’s training session, and on Wednesday he skipped the training as he was passing new scans. It isn’t known yet if he will be available for the weekend.

At Recreativo, the Andalusian club is living a great moment, with only one defeat within the last seven matches; besides there are no casualties for the meeting with Deportivo. Centre midfielder Manuel Martinez returns from suspension and offensive midfielder Juan Villar Vázquez has already surpassed a knee sprain that sidelined him from the past match with Real Murcia.

Meanwhile, strikers Javi Álamo and Sergi Enrich were dragging knocks from the game at the Nueva Condomina, but by Wednesday both were fine and training with the rest of the team. The only casualty during the trainings has been coach Álvaro Cervera whose mother passed away on Tuesday.

About signings during the winter window, the club completed a massive operation with Segunda B club San Roque de Lepe, which is passing through a difficult financial situation. Recre signed defender Raúl Albentosa Redal, midfielder Jesús Rubio and striker Jesús Berrocal, this last two players have scored 15 of the 26 goals of San Roque in the Segunda B competition.

At the same time defender Pablo Oliveira was released and ended signing with San Roque de Lepe, while playmaker Álvaro González was loaned to that same club. Recreativo was also trying to get rid of striker Kepa Blanco, plus defenders Alejandro Zamora and Manuel Micó, but in the end the three of them are staying at the club. Another players that left during the winter window were striker Ximo Navarro, who went to Córdoba CF, and midfielder Héctor Font, this last one joined FC Cartagena and actually played last Sunday at the Riazor.
