Only Aythami and Jesús Vázquez are out of the Galician derby, so coach Oltra is able to repeat the lineup used in the major part of the first round; Colotto and Morel returns and should be on the starting formation.

Things are pretty clear at Deportivo ahead of the derby at Balaídos; coach José Luis Oltra is recovering central defender Diego Colotto and left-back Claudio Morel, duo that was suspended for the past meeting at the Riazor before Real Murcia, so the Valencian trainer will probably return to the starting eleven that has been playing in the second round.

In the last month Oltra has had problems at defense due to the suspensions, but for the important clash in Vigo he is able to present his “luxury” formation, with Daniel Aranzubia defending the goal, Laureano Sanabria ‘Laure’ playing at the right-back position, Morel performing no the left, and the duo Ze-Castro-Colotto covering the central positions.

The only two Galician players in the formation will appear at midfield: Juan Dominguez and Álex Bergantiños. Both already played the derby of the first round and also lived derbies performing for Deportivo B and even for the Juveniles squads.

Juan Carlos Valerón will be the guide of the team performing as the playmaker in the scheme; the Canarian will also be the player on the field with more Galician derbies on his shoulders (8). Who will live his first derby is Andrés Guardado, the Mexican skipped the match of the first round and is now attacking from the left flank; Portuguese Bruno Gama should be attacking from the right wing and Riki is ready to perform at the centre of the attack.

For now the only casualties for the derby are Jesús Vázquez and Aythami Artiles; the latest scans detected a grade one injury on his left thigh, so the Canarian will remain out for at least one week. Oltra will have to discard five men for the meeting, the list will be released today after the last training before the match (Abegondo, 10h30 CET).
