Problems at the centre of the defense for Oltra; Aythami and Ze Castro are doubtful, so Rochela might end playing alongside Colotto. The rival is just having two casualties, but has spent seven straight games without achieving a victory.

Coach José Luis Oltra is having problems at the centre of the defense, both Aythami Artiles and Ze Castro are facing physical problems and are doubtful for Saturday’s visit to UD Almeria (Estadio de Los Juegos Mediterráneos, 18h00 CET). The Canarian still dragging a grade-one muscle injury and it seems that he won’t be ready for the clash against UD Almeria.

Meanwhile, the Portuguese defender suffered an ankle sprain during the home game against Elche CF; the doctors are hoping that he could be ready for Saturday, but the true is that he was training apart on Wednesday and it seems complicated that he could be fit for the clash.

In the end David Rochela might be playing alongside Diego Colotto at the centre of the defense; the ex-Fabril is the field player with lesser minutes on the league season (14). He was going to replace Ze Castro during the second half before Elche CF, but Oltra chose other options as Depor was needing more offensive power in order to define the game.

Striker Riki and centre midfielder Jesús Vázquez are the other two injured men that will miss the clash; the Madrilenian will return until May, so Lassad Nouioui will continue to be the striker at the starting formation.

At UD Almeria, there are no big casualties caused by the injuries and suspensions, which are particular great news for a team only composed by eighteen players. For the game against Deportivo there are two confirmed casualties; the first is striker Henok Goitom, the Swedish forward is the third best scorer at the team with six goals in favour, but he has remained in the sidelines for the past two weeks due to a back injury.

The second is midfielder Fernando Soriano, who is dragging a knee injury; he was training on Tuesday and Wednesday, but won’t receive the medical okay before Saturday. But defender Michael Jakobsen is fit to play despite sustaining a groin injury in the past meeting against FC Cartagena. Central defender Santiago Acasiete skipped the session on Tuesday, but it was because he was at the dentist’s office.

The match is a final for the Andalusians, new coach Esteban Vigo arrived three weeks ago and he has been unable to achieve a victory in the past three matches, actually Almeria has spent seven straight games without adding the three points, tough Los Almerienses are currently living inside the promotion zone.

Since Esteban Vigo will have two casualties for the game, he will need two players from Almeria B in order to fill the gaps; on Wednesday the B squad members that practiced with the first team were defenders Ángel Trujillo, Alberto Romo, midfielders Abel Molinero, Cristobal Gil, Sebastián Iriarte plus strikers Jonathan Sundy and Pablo Pallarés.
