Oltra is only having the casualties of Salomão and Jesús Vázquez; the coach is convinced that the promotion will be secured in future games, so he won’t travel with the full squad. The rival is relaxed and only having a few casualties.

The injury room is getting empty as Deportivo is facing the matchdays that will decide the promotion with almost a full squad available; Daniel Aranzubia has finally surpassed the Achilles injury that sidelined him for a couple of weeks, same thing than left-back Claudio Morel, who is fit to play after been out due to an adductor injury.

Therefore the only two casualties for the match against Xérez CD (Sunday, Chapin stadium, 20h00 CET) are centre midfielder Jesús Vázquez (broken fibula) and left winger Diogo Salomão (groin). Coach José Luis Oltra was thinking in travelling with the full squad to Jerez de la Frontera (Cádiz), but later changed his mind as he thinks that the promotion will be secured in the visit to Nástic, this since the Valencian trainer is convinced that both Celta and Valladolid won’t fail on the weekend.

So, the team trains today at Abegondo, after the session Oltra will release the list of eighteen picked players traveling to Andalusia. It will be a busy week as the group returns on Monday, only to complete a new journey on Tuesday, this time to Catalonia in order to play against Gimnástic de Tarragona on Wednesday. That’s why the team didn’t train on Thursday as Oltra gave a free day to the players.

At CD Xérez, there’s a relaxed environment at the team; mathematically Los Azulinos need one more point to certify the permanence, but with nine clubs below them at the standings is almost impossible to see them falling to Segunda División B, and the players know this.

Coach Vicente Moreno still pending if he will renew his contract, though it seems difficult as he already had some conflicts with the club’s officials. For the match against Deportivo the Andalusian coach is having three casualties, none of them have been important players on the season.

The first casualty is midfielder Rafael Barber, who has just played eleven games due to the injuries, the last one a knee ligaments injury that’s keeping him out for a while. Another centre midfielder with endless injury problems is Gerard Autet, the Catalan has just played six times on the season and is out of this clash due to an Achilles problem.

And the third casualty is keeper José María Jiménez; he’s dragging a muscular problem on his right leg, but he has just played four times on the liga season, this since the starting option is ex-Betis man Toni Doblas. Side defender Raúl Cámara was training apart on Friday due to a muscular problem, but the doctors expect that he will be fit to play on Sunday.
