The renewal of German Lux means that Deportivo is no longer concern on the goal and that only three positions need to be strengthened: the left-back, the centre of the defense and the striking zone. The club could also try to sign a new left winger.

Lesser problems for president Lendoiro; the continuity of German Lux means that Deportivo is no longer interested in signing a new goalkeeper; therefore there are only three positions that need to be reinforced: the left-back position, the centre of the defense and the striking zone.

A lot has been written in recent days about the possible arrival of Evaldo dos Santos (30, Sporting CP), but it seems that the club is searching for other left-backs, like the case of Tiago Pinto (24, Rio Ave). For now the club is negotiating, but as Pachi Dopico explained to reporters the new arrivals may last a while.

About central defenders, the only news is that two of the four targets listed by Depor Sport are no longer available. Alejandro Arribas (23) has signed for Osasuna and Carlos Cuellar (30) did the same with English club Sunderland, now the only options still available are Sidnei Rechel da Silva (23, Benfica) and Marc Torrejón (26, Racing Santander).

In attack, Depor still pending in the possibility of renewing the contract of Lassad Nouioui; if the Tunisian decides to leave then Lendoiro will be forced to sign two more strikers. Diego Costa (23, Atletico Madrid) still mentioned as the main target, though the president of Atletico already said that the negotiations are stopped. The last striker linked with Deportivo is Hugo Almeida (27, Beşiktaş JK), an operation that will be possible thanks to the intermediation of Jorge Mendes.

Finally, Depor could be tempted to sign a new left winger; it isn’t a priority, but the club could try to hire a fourth winger if it finds an interesting choice at the market. In this sense Portuguese Luís Miguel Afonso ‘Pizzi´ (22, Sporting Braga) still mentioned as a target of Lendoiro.
