Deportivo is debuting in la liga with three casualties at Oltra’s team, while the three players that were in international action are back on trainings. Osasuna is having a couple of doubts for the trip to A Coruña.

La Liga is back and Deportivo debuts at the Riazor facing Atletico Osasuna (Monday, 19h00 CET). The Galicians return to the elite of Spanish football with a couple of important exits from the team, but also with eight reinforcements that are expanding the depth of the squad. Oltra has been preparing the game since Wednesday and already ruled out three players due to injury reasons.

The men out are left winger Diogo Salomão (groin), centre back Ze Castro (hamstring) and right-back Laureano Sanabria ‘Laure’ (shoulder dislocation). The first two have missed the whole pre-season stage; in the case of Ze Castro the doctors expect that he could join the team on next week while Salomão will be out for at least one more week. Laure should also join the trainings on next week.

Last week left-back Ayoze Diaz (hamstring) and centre midfielder Jesús Vázquez (lumbago) skipped the Teresa Herrera, but they joined the group on this week and are available. Juan Dominguez (quadriceps) is also fit to play; actually the Galician midfielder was a starter against Atletico Madrid.

Also, on Wednesday Oltra had three casualties due to international action. Centre midfielder André Santos and striker Nélson Oliveira were with Portugal during the 2-0 victory over Panama. Oliveira played 61 minutes and scored one of the goals, while André spent the whole match on the bench. Centre midfielder Abel Aguilar

Osasuna, meanwhile, expect to progress on this season and, beyond avoiding relegation, they are dreaming with the possibility of reaching the European positions, though it’s also true that they have lost important players such as centre midfielder Raul Garcia. But they have also signed interesting choices as ex-Valladolid winger Sisi or veteran striker Joseba Llorente (on loan from Real Sociedad).

Coach José Luis Mendilibar is enjoying of a second full-season at the Navarran club, for now he has two doubtful players for the trip to the Riazor, both are new signings and are sidelined due to muscular injuries: ex-Numancia left winger Fernando Macedo ‘Nano’ and ex-Rayo Vallecano centre midfielder Emiliano Armenteros.

Centre midfielder Masoud Shojaei is finally back after been sidelined for fifteen months due to a nasty toe fracture suffered during the match against Atletico Madrid (April 2011); in any case it isn’t expected that the Iranian will take part of the match at the Riazor as he’s lacking match fitness.
