Deportivo will play the first friendly of the pre-season today (21h30). The rival is San Roque de Lepe, a local team that will be used in order to obtain the first conclusions in this new season. So far the only serious casualty is Bodipo who will have to rest during the next two days.

For the moment the squad has continued to work in Isla Canela according to the schedule. Three sessions per day that in some personal cases have been increased to five, as the physical trainer Carlos Laln explained yesterday: At least twenty players have an special routine in the gym, for that reason they must go trough four or five session in only one day. This is because we are trying to increase the strength of the men."

As usual, the team started to work in the golf course and at noon, they worked on the beach. This time they participated in several games that included all kind of runs over the sand. The Uruguayans Fabin Estoyanoff and Sebastin Taborda couldn't end the session because of physical troubles. Taborda started to feel muscular pains while Estoyanoff has troubles in the abductor.

But who's living the worst situation is Rodolfo Bodipo. Further exams indicated that the striker suffered a fissure in the first toe of his left foot, for this reason he will have to rest during the next two days meaning that he will miss today's friendly match. Pablo Alvarez is the other injured player and he has followed his recuperation schedule as was expected.

Ex-Mlaga player Juan Rodrguez talked after the first session about the experience that he is living in the team: "We are all absorbing the ideas, besides the competence inside the squad is asking us for our best effort and that's always a positive thing for the club." The midfielder also admitted that he trained during his vacations and for this reason he hasn't experienced any troubles: "Physically I am OK. The truth is that I started to work before to this pre-season stage, and I just want to continue in this run, at this level and without injuries."

Fabricio Coloccini should joined the squad in yesterday's session, but it has been reported that the club doesn't know where is he. Apparently Deportivo has been trying to call him during the last three days without any response. In the last hours it was speculated that the player is trying to search for an exit from the club, but this rumour hasn't been confirmed yet.
