RIKI IS MAKING HISTORY AT DEPORTIVO

04 Apr 2013
New goal for Riki and the Madrilenian attacker is now the tenth best scorer in the history of Deportivo La Coruña playing at Primera División; he’s also the third best scorer for the club during the 21st century.

Iván Sánchez Rico Soto ´Riki’ is now part of the history of Deportivo after netting a new goal at Liga BBVA. His goal against RCD Mallorca meant the number 37 playing with the Blanquiazul outfit at the elite of Spanish football, also meaning that he’s now the tenth best scorer playing for Depor at Primera División.

He won’t reach the roof established by other historic marksmen in this history of the club such as Bebeto, Makaay and Diego Tristán, but the Aranjuez-born attacker has the option of entering into the top-top five list of the club, though he will need seven more goals in the final nine games of the season.
