Fernando Vázquez will be able to repeat the lineup of the past three games, because Manuel Pablo’s suspension has been lifted. Still, the defender and Riki are doubtful. The rival arrives to the meeting without casualties, but without Martins.

The battle against Real Zaragoza left important casualties inside Depor’s squad ahead of the visit to Levante UD (Saturday, 18h00 CET). First to all right-back Manuel Pablo picked his fifth yellow card of the season; the club appealed the decision and it was accepted, the competition committee lifted the yellow card and the player was cleared to perform at the Ciutat de Valencia. Still, the Canarian defender is doubtful as he’s dragging a knock and hasn’t trained with the group during this week.

So, it isn’t certain if Deportivo will be able to repeat the lineup for a fourth straight opportunity. The competition committee also suspended coach Fernando Vázquez. He was sent off at the end of the game, apparently for saying “You are wonderful” to the fourth official. He will be off the bench for two games.

Another right-back at the team, Laureano Sanabria ‘Laure’, represents the only confirmed casualty for the meeting. The Madrilenian defender hasn’t played in 2013 as he has been unable to surpass a groin injury. It’s feared that he will remain off for the rest of the season.

There are more problems derived from the past clash against Real Zaragoza, Riki was replaced with a muscle problem, and on Tuesday’s training he sustained a new injury after  collision with Pizzi. The scans revealed that it was a muscle injury on his left hip. He isn’t ruled out of Saturday’s game, but on Wednesday he skipped the training session.

Left winger Javier Camuñas also remains off; he missed the game against Real Zaragoza due to an adductor injury. It was expected that the Madrilenian player could be back for the visit to Levante, but he hasn’t trained with the group during this week. In resume, one player is already out of Saturday’s meeting, while three remain doubtful.

At Levante UD, coach Juan Ignacio Martínez prepares the meeting without injury concerns and neither suspensions. Centre-back David Navarro returns after missing the past game against Real Madrid after picking a fifth yellow card.

Playmaker Valmiro Lopes Rocha ‘Valdo’ and centre midfielders José Javier Barkero were dragging knocks, but the duo played for a few minutes against Real Madrid and now they are ready to play for a full game. Side defender Juanfran missed the first training of the week due to a knee problem, but he should be fine for Saturday.

But curiously the team is missing three of the four strikers that began the season. The main one is Obafemi Martins; the Nigerian man remains as the top-scorer at the team (7 goals), but on March he decided to join the Seattle Sounders in the MLS. Before, Theofanis Gekas went to Turkey in November, while Ángel Rodriguez returned to Elche CF at Segunda División during the winter window.
