Fernando Vázquez will decide on Friday if both Manuel Pablo and Riki will be picked for the game against Levante UD. If they are fit to play then the coach could repeat the lineup of the previous three liga meetings.

Striker Riki (hip) and right-back Manuel Pablo (muscle) remain doubtful for Saturday’s clash against Levante UD. The duo trained apart on Thursday, but they still have options of playing the game. Coach Fernando Vázquez will decide on Friday if they are going to be picked for the meeting.

Their status will determine if Deportivo are going to repeat the lineup for a fourth straight opportunity. Left winger Javier Camuñas is already recovered from an adductor problem, so at this point the only confirmed casualty for the match is right-back Laureano Sanabria ´Laure´ (groin).

In case Manuel Pablo isn’t fit to play then Sílvio will be moved to the right side of the defense and Ayoze Díaz would perform at the left. There’s also a doubt at the centre of the defense. Aythami Artiles didn’t have a good game against Real Zaragoza and during the week the coach tested with Kaká performing alongside Carlos Marchena.

Brazilian Kaká has only played twice with Fernando Vázquez: the ninety minutes against Sevilla CF (1-3) and 58 minutes against Real Madrid (1-2). The defensive line is completed with Dani Aranzubia, who should stay at the goal.

In the case of Riki, if the Madrilenian isn’t fit to play then the spot should be for Nélson Oliveira. The Portuguese attacker has played five times since the arrival of Vázquez and has remained scoreless since matchday 04 (1-1 at Granada CF). Still, the coach said during his press conference that Camuñas, Pizzi or Salomão could end playing there.

The rest of the lineup should be the same one that played against Real Zaragoza. Abel Aguilar and Juan Dominguez should perform at midfield, Bruno Gama will attack from the right wing, Pizzi should do the same from the left flank and Valerón will continue in the playmaking function.
