Deportivo are ready to make an effort in order to keep Bruno Gama, one of the best players during the Primera season that has ended. There are offers coming for the Portuguese winger, but the club wants him to stay.

Right winger Bruno Gama could be one of the bastions of Deportivo at Segunda División. Depor Sport announced during the week that the intention of the club is keep him ahead of the season 2013/14. The source also admits that Real Valladolid and Sevilla CF have approached Jorge Mendes in order to ask for the player.

Despite the interest, Depor Sport informs that Deportivo will make anything possible in order to keep the winger. Gama renewed his contract with Depor at the beginning of January. His contract was ending in 2015, and with this new deal it was been increased for one additional season. Depor only owe the 20% of his rights, but with the new contract the 100% of the player’s rights will be for the Galician club at the end of the period.

That’s precisely the main problem for Deportivo, because Jorge Mendes has the majority of the player’ rights, at least until 2016 and he could be tempted to sell him if a good offer arrives, but it’s also probable that the agent will leave him at Depor despite the relegation.

Gama was the player with more minutes on the Primera season 2012/13; actually he was the second man in the history of the club that was a starter in all the games during a 38-match season. The Portuguese winger was an important piece in the plans of the three coaches that passed through the club. He scored six goals and provided five assists.

Depor Sport also reported that Real Valladolid has asked about the situation of centre midfielder Juan Dominguez. Last year he extended his link with the club until 2015 and has a buyout option of €20 million. According to the report the club won’t allow his exit, so any club wanting to sign him would have to play the clause.
