The second stage of the pre-season began on Monday with the incorporation of Fabril’s players and also with the first training in Monforte de Lemos, Intense day for the players and physical tests for Depor B members.

The ten Fabril’s players picked by coach Fernando Vázquez joined the trainings during the morning, the nine outfield players - Teles, Romay, Lemos, Uxío, Insua, Bicho, Luis, Dani Iglesias & Sidibé- made the same physical tests –velocity and resilience- completed by the rest of players during their first day early in the month.

Meanwhile, goalkeeper David Gómez was training alongside German Lux and Daniel Aranzubia. The two injured players, Manuel Pablo (hamstring) and David Rochela (foot), joined the session after surpassing their problems. Centre-back Ze Castro also returned after skipping Saturday’s session with permission from the coaching staff.

After the physical tests, the players from Depor B joined the rest of the group and completed a series of exercises. The session was short as the squad traveled later to Monforte de Lemos, base of the second stage on the pre-season.

In the afternoon the players trained at the A Pinguela stadium, this time the session was long and intense under the heat of the sun (33 degrees Celsius); the players made a series of exercises and later played a training match at the end. Today the team will have a double session and on Wednesday, Deportivo will play the first friendly game on the pre-season (Vs. Club Lemos, 20h00 CET).
