The probable absence of Culio plus the lack of reinforcements is moving coach Fernando Vázquez to improvise ahead of the game against Córdoba CF. Wilk could make his debut and Bicho has a chance to be a starter.

New problems for Fernando Vázquez ahead of the second meeting in the league season. The main problems are located at both wings. Bruno Gama left the club on Sunday and his replacement hasn’t been signed yet. Meanwhile, the competition committee in la liga didn’t lift the suspension over Juan Culio, the club presented a new appeal, but it will hardly help to lift the ban for Saturday.

Culio performed as a playmaker against UD Las Palmas, and the Argentine was a candidate to perform at the left wing for the match against Córdoba CF. Besides this problem the club hasn’t signed yet the highly expected pair of strikers, so the coach has lesser options to compose the attacking line.

What Vázquez has tested in the training sessions is to advance the position of Juan Dominguez to the playmaker’s role, in this way there’s an open spot at midfield and the main candidate for the job is Cezary Wilk. In this way the Polish centre midfielder could make his debut on the season.

Fabril’s Paulo Teles was also used in the position, but the main tests were made with Wilk, which invites to think that this is the planned lineup by the Galician tactician. Then both Rudy and Arizmendi would perform at the wings.

There’s another possibility and it means to move Rudy to the playmaker’s role, keeping Juan Dominguez at midfield and then allow the debut of Bicho as a starter and performing at the left wing.

Luis Fernández would continue to be the central attacker as Deportivo still waiting for the arrival of the two strikers that Fernando Vázquez is waiting for. What shouldn’t change is the defense, Lux performing at the goal, with Manuel Pablo and Laure covering the sides. Finally, Pablo Insua and Kaká should be playing at the central positions.
