Kaká has been ruled out of Sunday’s game due to an injury, with Marchena arriving until this week it means that Uxío will probably have the chance to debut with the first team. The rival arrives to Riazor with a full squad available.

The transfer window left Deportivo’s first team with a limited squad only composed by eighteen players, which was reduced to seventeen after the exit of David Rochela was confirmed. It means that in order to fill up the gaps for the liga games coach Fernando Vázquez will have to rely in the players coming from Fabril.

And the presence of the youngsters will have to be bigger each time an injury occurs, which is the case for the upcoming clash against Real Murcia (Riazor, Sunday, 12h00 CET). Centre-back Kaká has been ruled due to a grade I muscle strain on his left thigh, injury sustained during Wednesday’s training, and with Carlos Marchena joining the team until this week it means that Uxío Marcos has a big chance to make his debut with the first team.

The inexperience of Uxío is complemented by the fact that he has been playing alongside Pablo Insua since the stage at Infantiles, including the last two seasons at Tercera with Deportivo B. But the coach has more options to fill up the gap at the centre of the defense, like replacing Álex Bergantiños or Cezary Wilk, midfielders that played in the past as centre-backs.

On Thursday, the coach offered a large radio interview at Radio Coruña (Cadena Ser) and he admitted that Uxío is the main choice for the spot, "The normal thing is to see him [Uxío] playing on Sunday, but we also have the option of Álex, I believe those are our two main options.”

Apart from the injury case with Kaká, it has been a calmed week at Abegondo. With Ayoze Diaz visiting the players on Wednesday in order to say good-bye, while on that same day there was a barbecue after the training session, always with German Lux as the chef.

Real Murcia will visit the Riazor with a full squad available, actually coach Julio Velazquez has been lucky enough to count with all his players during the first three matchdays in liga. The number of players at the first team was increased to 21 after French striker Dominique Malonga joined the team on Tuesday in a loan spell coming from AC Cesena.

He has been reported out of shape and will probably be ruled out of the meeting, but for now the Murcians won’t miss his services, after all they are the team that has scored more goals after three matchdays at Liga Adelante (8), and they also have the Pichichi of the league: Kike García, who’s a 23-year-old striker promoted from the B squad and that has scored four times so far.

Real Murcia made eleven signings during the summer window, four of them are regular starters in this beginning of the season: goalkeeper Casto Espinosa, left-back defender Álex Martinez, plus midfielders Albert Doca and Alberto Sansinena 'Tete'.
