Fernando Vázquez will face new problems at defense after Luisinho sustained an injury that’s sidelined him from Sunday’s game. Meanwhile, Kaká, Uxío and Marchena remain doubtful. The rival is not having injury cases.

New defensive problems for coach Fernando Vázquez. If last week he had problems at the central positions, now the left side is also affected by the injuries. And it’s that Luisinho sustained an elongation on the Semimembranosus muscle of his left leg during Wednesday’s training. He already has been ruled out of the next two matches in liga.

It means more problems ahead of the home clash against AD Alcorcón (Riazor, Sunday, 18h15 CET). Vázquez stated last week that Carlos Marchena was going to be fit for this week, but at this point it isn’t clear if the ex-Valencia man is going to be ready.

Besides, Kaká hasn’t trained at the top as he is still trying to surpass an adductor injury; he didn’t train on Wednesday’s morning and only completed part of the afternoon’s session. By Thursday he was training apart from the group. Neither Uxío Marcos has trained properly on this week after the nose fracture sustained in the Copa clash against Córdoba CF.

So, the only centre-back that remains available is Pablo Insua, for this reason Vázquez picked Roberto Suárez Pier ‘Róber’ for the trainings. The 18-year-old Fabril’s defender was going to be picked for the Copa match in Andalusian, but he sustained an inopportune injury.

The left-back position is also a headache. Luisinho is the only natural player for the position, and now the coach will have to improvise with a right-footed player, which could be Manuel Pablo or Diego Seoane, though the coach as also picked a player from Fabril Aarón Rama. The 23-year-old player is a recent addition to Depor B and trained with the first team during Wednesday and Thursday.

Another player that will miss the clash in new signing Antonio Núñez, he didn’t train on this weeks due to a Soleus injury. The latest scans determined that he’s dragging a first degree Myofascial injury on the Soleus muscle of his left leg. He will be off for at least one week.

The first team trained on Thursday at Abegondo

At AD Alcorcón, coach Miguel Álvarez has been surprising by the two last defeats in liga, results that pulled the team out from the first position and the promotion zone. The good thing is that there are no injury concerns at the team.

There were only two players dragging physical problems, curiously both are the two ex-Depor players at the Madrilenian team: Javito and Manu Fernandez. The winger picked a muscle injury in the 3-0 win over RC Recreativo, while the keeper was dragging a hip problem.

AD Alcorcón played a friendly game on Thursday facing CD Mostoles; Manu was a starter in the game; what called the attention is that five normal starters in liga were playing the match: centre-backs Nagore and Verdes, centre midfielder Rubén Sanz plus attackers Juli and Quini.
