Luisinho is back, but Marchena and Antonio Núñez remain sidelined. Striker Borja Bastón hasn’t trained, but should be fit to play. Meanwhile, the rival is having big problems with the injuries, mainly at the left side of the pitch.

Mixed news for coach Fernando Vázquez; he’s recovering left-back Luisinho and will have striker Borja Bastón available for Saturday’s meeting against CD Mirandés (Riazor, 18h15 CET). The Portuguese defender has missed the last two league games due to a muscle injury and joined the trainings on Wednesday. The player received the medical approval after the session.

In the case of Bastón, the striker was stretched off during last Sunday’s game played in Alicante; the first scans revealed that he only suffered a small problem in the Soleus muscle. He was rested on Wednesday and the coaching staff expects he will join the group on Thursday, so the current Pichichi of Depor should be fit to play for Saturday’s match.

Centre-back Uxío Marcos is also progressing; the young defender suffered a nose fracture during the Copa clash against Córdoba CF. He didn’t train on Wednesday and the doctors expect he could join the rest of the group on Thursday.

But there are also bad news; winger Antonio Núñez and centre-back Carlos Marchena remain sidelined and won’t play on Saturday. Núñez is dragging a Soleus injury and isn’t ready to return, while the defender is dragging a muscle strain on his right thigh, it isn’t a serious problem, but Fernando Vázquez doesn’t want to assume risks with him and the ex-Valencia won’t be forced to return before the expectations.

Finally, continuing with the policy of allowing the participation of Fabril’s players in order to fill the gaps at the first team, Depor’s coach picked centre-back Enrique Fornos and Óscar García for Wednesday’s training, both already took part of the training sessions on last week.

At CD Mirandés, coach Gonzalo Arconada is dealing with a lot of problems due to the injuries hitting his squad. He already has four casualties for the game against Depor, while up to seven men are doubtful or are just returning from an injury. The main difficulties are located at the left side, because he’s just recovering two men for that flank and at the same time in recent days he lost other two left-footed players.

Left-back José Antonio Rios debuted on the season during Sunday’s game against SD Ponferradina; he entered for the final fifteen minutes after suffering a muscle tear during the pre-season. Left winger Pablo Infante is also returning from a muscle problem; he was a substitute against SD Ponferradina and scored the winning goal in that game.

These two men could be starters against Depor despite been lacking match fitness, what happens is that the recent starters for the left positions got injured in recent weeks. Against SD Ponferradina, left-back Borja Docal suffered an ankle sprain and was replaced by Infante at the middle of the first half. He’ll be off for a couple of weeks.

Meanwhile, Ex-Athletic Bilbao left-back Koikili Lertxundi sustained a knock in the previous game against RCD Mallorca, last weekend he didn’t play before SD Ponferradina and he remains doubtful for Saturday.

And there are more problems at other positions. Chilean keeper Francisco Prieto and centre-back Manuel Lucena are out until the middle of the month due to muscle problems, then centre midfielders Juan Muñiz is out (ankle sprain). Finally, there are other three men that are dragging injuries and that are doubtful for the visit to the Riazor: striker Igor Martínez (knock), centre midfielder Iriome González (muscle contracture) and right-back Javier Flaño (knock).
