Deportivo recover Antonio Núñez, Arizmendi and Marchena, while it loses Pablo Insua. The rival is facing a delicate moment and its missing a lot of players due to the injuries and the international action on these days.

Very good news for coach Fernando Vázquez ahead of the visit to Barcelona B (Mini Estadi, Sunday, 12h00 CET); on Tuesday striker Javier Arizmendi was declared fit to play after missing the last game against CD Mirandés due to a Sciatica problem.

One day later centre-back Carlos Marchena (thigh) and winger Antonio Núñez (Soleus) also received the okay from the doctors. It means great news taking in mind that on next week the Galician outfit has to play three matches in eight days as in mid-week Deportivo return to Copa Del Rey. It gives more choices in a team only composed b eighteen players. Vázquez already announced that Núñez and Marchena have big chances of been starters in Copa.

But for the game against the Catalans there will be one important casualty: Pablo Insua. The centre-back was picked by Julen Lopetegui to Spain U-21 squad and will be off for the weekend. The two players that remain out injured are winger Álvaro Lemos (knee) and Uxío Marcos (nose facture). In the case of Uxío he already began to train after feeling dizzy in past weeks.

The news on the trainings is related to the schemes tested by the coach during the sessions, from the 4-4-2 to the 4-1-4-1. It was also news the verbal confrontation between Culio and Luisinho on Tuesday, thought it turned to be just an isolated incident that didn’t disturb the peace inside the team. They fought after the Portuguese missed a pass and the Argentine reclaimed for it.

As always it was also possible to witness the presence of Fabril’s players during the sessions. Paulo Teles, Bicho and Cañi are normal participants, but on this week the coach picked winger Óscar García and centre-back Enrique Fornos, both already trained before in past weeks and in the case of Fornos he even debuted in Copa Del Rey

Marchena received the medical okay and is available for the coach

Antonio Núñez is training with normality and is available for the coach

Paulo Teles remains training with the first team and could be picked again for the trip to Barcelona

The conflict between Culio & Luisinho was just an anecdote; on Wednesday both men were training together

Fabril’s Quique Fornos & Cañi trained during the weeks with the first team

At Barcelona B, coach Eusebio Sacristán is facing a delicate situation; his team has lost three games in a row and there are massive casualties hitting the squad. The Catalan team is composed by 26 players thanks to the Juveniles, but the point is that nine of them will surely miss the clash against Depor.

Six players are out injured: striker Jean Marie Dongou (knee sprain), centre-backs Sergio Juste (knee ligaments) and Edgar Ié (stress fracture), left-backs Joan Campins (Biceps Femoris) and Àlex Grimaldo (cruciate ligaments), plus centre-midfielder Agostinho Ca (meniscus).

Besides, there are three youngsters out for the weekend as they are concentrated with their national teams: centre-back Macky Franck Bagnack (Cameroon), centre midfielder David Babunski (Macedonia) and striker Antonio Sanabria (Paraguay).

And there could be a tenth casualty for the match as centre-back Sergi Gómez is doubtful with a knee sprain. His casualty was the one that pulled national coach Julen Lopetegui to pick Pablo Insua to Spain U-21 squad, but the coaching staff at Barca has the hope of recovering in time to face Deportivo, something that seems improvable.
