The third reinforcement during the winter window was presented on Monday. Chilean Bryan Rabello will play loaned until the end of the season at Depor. He expects to help the team to reach Primera División.

Bryan Rabello is the third signing during the winter market 2014. Coach Fernando Vázquez likes the skills of the young playmaker and initially he arrives in order to cover the departure of Juan Culio, transferred two weeks ago to Al Wasl FC. It’s a loan spell from Sevilla CF lasting until the end of the season, there are no buyout options.

The operation was announced on last week and the player was presented on Monday. The playmaker arrived on Sunday to A Coruña in the same flight than the rest of the first team, because he was at the Nuevo Arcángel stadium watching the victory of his new partners. On Monday’s morning he completed the medicals.

At the airport he commented that ”This is a team with history and is good in order to grown up. Deportivo is a great team. They play good football, dynamic, always trying to have the ball possession and that’s one of their characteristics.” He also commented his conversation with Fernando Vázquez, ”The coach phoned me and told me what he wanted. I’m glad and the intention in these six months is to bring things in order to clinch the promotion.”

Rabello with Tino Fernández during the presentation

It was the first presentation of new president Tino Fernández, who was joined by Fernando Vidal, the sporting chief of the club, Ernesto Bello, the sporting director and the player’s agent, Alejandro Santisteban. The new boss reminded that there could be more signings and thanked the player for accepting the offer, ”We must thank Sevilla, the player’s agent, Fernado Vidal and Ernesto Bello for closing the negotiations. This day is unforgettable for us as it is our first presentation. We hope it will be the same for Bryan.”

Then the Chilean playmaker talked to the media, ”I’m content for been here and eager to help the team. I’m happy and willing to help. Depor have a large history and we hope to put back the team at Primera. I come here searching for a starring role and also to grow up as a player.”

Once again Rabello told to reporters that the call of Fernando Vázquez was crucial for his arrival to Depor, ”I had more offers, even a few from Primera, but I chose to come to Depor. One of the things that pulled me to come here is the call from Fernando Vázquez.”
