Moved week for Fernando Vázquez, with exits, arrivals and new injury cases. Despite the signings there are only fifteen players available plus the incorporation of Sissoko, who will join the trainings on Thursday.

Atypical week at Deportivo’s first squad with several novelties: one player left, another two were signed and there were three new injury cases. In the end coach Fernando Vázquez is facing the same problems of last week due to the shortness of the team ahead of the match against CE Sabadell CF (Riazor, Saturday, 20h00 CET)

Playmaker Bryan Rabello was presented on Monday and joined the trainings one day later, then winger Ibrahim Sissoko was signed on Wednesday and will join the groups tomorrow. In the middle of both cases centre-back Kaká rescinded his contract and returned to Apoel FC.

Besides, the victory over Cordoba CF was really expensive as Depor suffered three new injury cases. There was a sense of relief after it was determined that the injury of goalkeeper German Lux was only a knee sprain, but still he will be off between four and six weeks.

Then the cases of striker Luis Fernández and right winger Antonio Núñez. The Galician forward suffered a grade-one muscle injury on his right hip, while the Madrilenian winger is dragging a muscle distension on his left thigh. Both players were replaced during the game at the Nuevo Arcángel stadium and are already ruled out of Saturday’s match.

In this way the list of casualties for injury reasons is extended to six names as winger Álvaro Lemos (knee), centre-back Carlos Marchena (adductor) and right-back Manuel Pablo (adductor) remain on the sidelines. Javier Arizmendi returned to train on Wednesday after a new relapse with his endless Sciatica problem, while Luisinho is fine after picking a knock on Tuesday’s session.

So, despite the signings there were only fifteen players available during Wednesday’ s session, number that will be increased to sixteen as Sissoko will join the trainings today. Once again there are limited resources to plan the tactic for the match, reason why coach Fernando Vázquez picked four players from Fabril in order to complete the squad during the trainings: keeper David Gómez, centre-back Uxío Marcos, centre midfielder Paulo Teles and playmaker Bicho.

At least three of the youngsters should be picked for the game as it’s highly probable that Sissoko will be off for the weekend as it was reported that’s not fit to play. 19-year-old David Gómez should be completing his first call for an official game and should be the substitute keeper.

At CE Sabadell CF, coach Miquel Olmo has been dealing with problems at the moment of preparing the games due to the injuries and the lack of signings. Still, his team managed to win four straight games and is already out of the relegation zone, though they have only picked a draw from the last two matches.

Currently there are three players out due to injury reasons: winger Manuel Gato (hamstring), centre-back Raul Goni (knee) and left-back Víctor Espasandín (Talus bone). At the same time the Catalan club is trying to find an exit for left-back Javi Barral and centre midfielder Roberto López ‘Rúper’.

Previously they have parted ways with striker Paco Sutil. Then centre-back Pablo Ruiz (stress fracture) and left winger Mohamed El Yaagoubi ‘Moha’ (Achilles) are doubtful for Saturday. Currently the club is trying to hire a left-back defender and a right winger. In the end Olmo could end up only having 18 players available for the clash at the Riazor.
