The returns of Marchena and Antonio Núñez are bringing more depth to Fernando Vázquez. There are a few alternatives for the game against Real Murcia and it’s expected that the Galician tactician will continue to play with a 4-2-3-1.

For the first time in three weeks coach Fernando Vázquez has enough alternatives in order to prepare a proper lineup. For the home meeting against UD Las Palmas there were only fifteen men available, number that was raised to sixteen for the visit to Córdoba CF. Then, on last week, the exits of Teles and Rudy forced the coach to make last-minutes changes, including the presence of Ibrahim Sissoko, just when the coach admitted that he wasn’t fit to play.

Now the feeling is that the coach has more depth and therefore alternatives to prepare the lineup. Centre-back Carlos Marchena and winger Antonio Núñez have been declared fit to play and went directly into the list of picked players for the trip to Murcia.

Albert Lopo was also picked for the encounter and will have the chance to debut after his return to Deportivo. In this way the coach has seventeen players available for the match and is filling the last spot with Fabril’s keeper Marc Martinez.

It’s expected that the coach will continue with the 4-2-3-1 figure, though there are doubts in some positions. The key is who is going to play at the right wing. Vázquez could decide in keeping the same structure of the past win over CE Sabadell CF, which means to keep Diogo Salomão on the right wing, Luisinho on the left and Diego Seoane performing at the left-back position.

But there’s also the chance to see Antonio Núñez starting on his natural position (right wing), which would mean to switch back Salomão to the left and then delay the position of Luisinho, which also means that Seoane would be out of the starting formation.

There’s at least one forced modification that Vázquez should do compared to the team that played on last Saturday. Juan Dominguez is suspended, which is switching back Álex Bergantiños to midfield. Then the spot at the centre of the defense should be for Carlos Marchena, though the coach could be tempted in allowing the debut of Lopo.

The first team travels to Murcia on Saturday, just after ending the last training session, for this reason the coaching staff released the list of picked players since Friday:

Goalkeepers: Fabricio & Marc Martínez
Defenders: Laure, Diego Seoane, Luisinho, Albert Lopo, Pablo Insua & Carlos Marchena
Midfielders: Álex Bergantiños, Juan Carlos, Sissoko, Wilk, Salomão, Antonio Núñez & Rabello
Attackers: Javier Arizmendi, Borja Bastón & Toché
