For the second straight week Deportivo face a liga game without physical concerns; the only player out of the match is Marchena due to suspension. The rival is having problems with the injuries ahead of the game.

New week without major incidents for coach Fernando Vázquez. Since last Saturday there are no injured players at the team as Álvaro Lemos received the medical okay to play, so the coach has plenty of choices to prepare the meeting against Hércules CF (Riazor, Sunday, 18h15 CET).

The only casualty for the game is centre-back Carlos Marchena, who picked the fifth yellow card of the season in the past game against AD Alcorcón. The coaching staff has seized the suspension and rested the player during this week. The Madrilenian man has reduced the pace and has trained at the gym. Throughout the season it has been normal to see him skipping some training sessions in order to avoid the muscle problems.

Keeper German Lux received the medical okay to play on last Thursday, but it isn’t clear if he will be the starting choice on Sunday. Vázquez has said that he will wait until Friday or Saturday in order to decide if the Argentine man will return or if Fabricio Agosto will continue to be the starting goalie.

Meanwhile, winger Álvaro Lemos started to train with the first team during this week, but on Thursday he joined the B squad as he will play at Tercera División in order to gain match fitness. In this way the only field player of Fabril that keeps training with the first squad is playmaker Bicho. Keepers Marc Martinez and David Gómez have also trained with the first team during this week.

In this way Vázquez has twenty players available for Sunday. Two men will be ruled out of the meeting. Winger Ibrahim Sissoko has good chances of been picked up after been praised by Vázquez on Wednesday. Striker Luis Fernández is also pushing for the call after staying out of last Sunday’s game in Madrid

At Hércules CF, coach Quique Hernández is trying to bounce back for the second time after an unstable season in which his team has been going in and out of the relegation zone. They arrive to the Riazor after two straight 1-0 victories, results that pulled the team out of the pit.

Until Wednesday the only casualty for the visit to A Coruña was centre-back Borja Gómez, who sustained a meniscus injury back in November. He was operated and is out for the rest of the season. However things got complicated during Wednesday’s training session. Striker Adrián Sardinero was dragging a knee problem and suffered a relapse, while left winger Eldin Hadžić picked a Soleus problem.

They are important players in the attacking zone and it isn’t clear if both men will be available for the meeting. The coach will release the list of picked players on Friday as the club has planned a long bus trip to A Coruña. Centre midfielder Javi Hervás, pretended by Depor in January, is available for the game.
